HeartLand: Ty's Past.

Chapter 22.

Ty woke up, panting. He had just had a dream where he was seeing Storm being slaughtered right before him. Ty's head snapped to the window, as he leaped from his bed and poked his head out, sighing in relief upon seeing Storm there.

Ty quickly threw on his jeans and t-shirt, then walked down stairs and out of the barn. He found Clint's car in the drive way, as he walked into the kitchen to see Clint stood there, while Tim sat on the kitchen table, so did Lou.

"Clint, what you still doing here?" Ty asked, moving his hair out of his face as Clint smiled at him, but that then vanished as he sighed.

"Ty..." Clint muttered, just as Lucas, Amelia, Milly, and Jacob all walked in.

"Clint." Lucas greated, standing beside Ty, with his arm wrapped around his shoulders.

"Clint, what's going on?" Ty asked.

"It's about Storm." Clint muttered, as Ty looked at him, "I can't do anything about it..."

"But-but they can't do that! He's in good health. He's also trained!" Ty shouted, just as Amy walked in with Jack.

"Hey, what's goin on?" Jack asked.

"Seems like Clint can't do anything about the Slaughter house and Storm." Tim explained, as Clint looked at Ty.

"I'm sorry Ty... I have tried everything! Even telling them that he is yours." Clint said, as Ty just sucked in a breath, as Lucas looked at the ground, then to Ty and wrapping his arm back round his shoulders.

"Then, I'll do something." Lucas spoke up, as Ty turned to him.

"But, how can you?" Ty questioned.

"Well, I have got a few ideas." Lucas said, smirking as he hugged Ty, "I promise you. I will not let anything happen to Storm. He is yours."

"Thank you." Ty whispered, as Lucas smiled, "Do you need any help?"

"Nah, I've got it." Lucas said, looking at Ty with a smile.

"I'll drive you." Clint said, as he and Lucas exited the house, Ty watching Clint drive away, as Milly ran over to Ty and jumped onto his back.

"Piggy back ride!" Milly shouted, as Ty chuckled and walked outside with Milly still on his back.

After a few hours, Ty was giving Storm an apple, while sitting on the fence, as he saw Clint's car pull back up into the drive way, so he jumped down just as Jack walked out with Amy.

"Hey Kiddos." Clint greated Milly and Jacob when they ran upto Lucas and hugged him.

"Ty!" Lucas shouted, as Ty walked upto him and picked up Jacob, "They said hes yours."

"Really?" Ty asked, "What did you say to them?"

"Well, there is something else what you need to do first..." Lucas trailled of, as Ty raised an eyebrow, "You need to prove to him you can keep him. They want to see you ride him, jumps and everything! Just like you used to do, but with people here. Like a party!"

"What!?" Ty shouted, "I-I can't! I promised myself, I would not ride another horse, since..."

"Ty." Lucas said, putting a hand on each of his shoulder, "You can do it! We all believe in you. And, I think its time for the truth to come out."

Ty sat at the kitchen table, with Lucas beside him, and Amelia on his other side, with Amy sat opposite him, Jack sitting beside Amy, opposite Lucas, with Lou on the other side of Amy, opposite Amelia, with the two kids sitting on the floor, Tim standing behind Jack, Amy, and Lou.
