"Maa..", cried Sana while running inside the low lit room towards an old lady.
The old lady narrowed her eyes and looked at the blurred figure. Though she couldn't see her face properly, she recognised her by her voice.
"Sana..", Sunaina gasped in surprise looking at her daughter after 10 years.
"Maa.. how are you? Where did you disappear suddenly all these years?", Cried Sana hugging her mother. Sunaina too cried in her embrace and kissed her face but soon pushed Sana away.
"Sana.. go away.. don't fall prey..", screamed Sunaina in horror the next moment.
Sana froze and looked around. The unknown person who left her inside the house had closed the door from outside now. She realised that she was now trapped along with her mother inside this house.
"Sana.. why did you come here?", Sulked Sunaina.
"Shanaaaaya..", hummed Shekar who was hiding in the dark corner. He smirked coming outside. Sana looked at him in shock.
"Suprise!! Surprise!! How did you like it?", Asked Shekar.
Sunaina shivered and stood like a sheild infront of her daughter.
"Shehnaaz..", Sana heard a whisper from behind into her ear. Her eyes widened in shock hearing her being called "Shehnaaz" which was her birth name. She turned around and looked at an old man with a grey beard standing in front of her.
Sunaina pulled her back and hugged Sana to herself as if she was trying to save her child.
"Begum.. what are you doing? Won't you allow me to meet my daughter? Huh?", The old man uttered sweetly.
"Stay away from Sana, Asim. She is not your daughter. Sana is just my daughter", Roared Sunaina like an angry lioness.
"Relax Begum. Merely changing her name from Shehnaaz to Sana won't change the reality. Reality is that she is my daughter.", Asim claimed shamelessly.
"Okay okay.. enough of family drama here. Let's get straight to the point right away without further delay. Sana if you want your mother to be alive, just sign the property papers darling.", Said Shekar forwarding a bunch of stamp papers.
"I am not going to sign on those papers. You ain't getting anything you murderer.", spat Sana ferociously.
"There you know me very well my dear wifey. Murderer!! Yeah!! So you know what I can do? Don't angry me sweetheart. You want your mother safe, isn't it?", Shekar warned.
"I will kill you if you try to even touch my mother.", Shouted Sana.
"No no no sweetheart. I won't do anything to her. I know she is a whore but she is too old for me.", Said Shekar.
"Shut up your filthy mouth.", Screamed Sana.
"Oh dear!! My poor wifey got angry. I didn't mean to say anything wrong. I just said I won't touch your mother. All I meant to say was that your father is thirsty for her blood because she sent him to jail. Whatever will be done, it will be all done by him.", Shekar said smirking at Asim.
Sana looked at Asim who was glaring at Sunaina in extreme hate.
"Why would I give you my property when you aren't even my lawfully wedded husband? Remember, we haven't registered our wedding?", She said.
"Well you have no one else to give that property, so why not me?", Shekar asked.
"Why? I have my maa and now I also have my Abu.. I will give everything to my Abu, Mr. Asim only.", Said Sana looking at Asim.
