night sky
a sigh escapes your lips as you work on the drawing on your ipad.you're currently sat in the café not far away from your home, the one that jisoo works at.
you walked past it a few weeks back and had some iced coffee here (it was amazing), and now you can't seem to escape from it.
jisoo and you have become very good friends after she asked you for your number because she wished you were her soulmate.
(yup, that really happened).
it has been a few weeks now since you moved, and the pink haired girl is actually the only real friend that you have made. not that you mind, you don't need much friends, but it's good to have someone that just feels like you were meant to meet.
she's amazing, really.
jisoo said she wished you were her soulmate, but to you that's true. soulmates don't always have to be romantic, and you think that she's your soulmate for real. your platonic soulmate.
someone that is meant to be by your side for long.
because of you and jisoo being so such amazing soulmates (aha), you occasionally visit the café for coffee while you work on your art on your ipad (or just traditional on paper). it's fun to be around jisoo, and it's nice to work somewhere without being stuck in your apartment and have a drawing block. plus, this way you can hang out with her even more even though you're both working on your stuff.
"do you need another drink?"
jisoo walks up to you after a while of seeing you struggle on your work. she plops down on one of the chairs opposite of you.
you pout a little, not even looking at her as you answer, "yes please."
you pout your lips in thought, drawing more and more lines and deleting them again when you're not satisfied with it.
"you know you've been stuck on the same drawing for an hour, right? you keep deleting it. why don't you try and make something else?"
jisoo titles her head a little to the side. "wouldn't it be good to just... try something else?"
you sigh, "but i really want to draw this, it's just not... working."
you sigh again and look at the moon drawing you're making. you suddenly had the idea to make a beautiful night sky with bright red and bright purple colours, but somehow it just doesn't work out like you want it to.
you keep deleting items or redrawing a lot of things, like the colour grading, or the way the stars and moon are shaped, or the mountains around it.
now that you've got the idea, you want it finished. that's how you are, you think of something and want it finished. you'll make it perfect later, but at least the idea needs to be on the paper (or in this case, on your drawing file). that's just how you work. you're really impatient even though you should have patience.
