It was a nice cool September evening in Knapford Harbor. Everyone was working their butts off taking trucks to and from the harbor. Thomas was especially worked off his wheels. He had been taking trucks to and from the Anofa Quarry.

Thomas: Bloody hell! Will this work ever end!?!?!?

Thomas' Driver: Don't worry, Thomas. You just need to take these empty trucks to the quarry, and you'll be all set.

Thomas: Good. I really need some sleep after waking up early this morning.

Thomas was just buffered up to a train of empty trucks on one of the piers when he heard an unfamiliar whistle.

*whistle*

Thomas: That's strange. I've never heard that whistle before.

Thomas' Driver: Me neither.

Suddenly, a large dark blue coffeepot engine appeared with a long line of stone trucks. It was running well over the speed limit, all the while whistling fit to burst. Suddenly, when the engine reached the pier, it suddenly crashed though the buffers and plunged into the sea with an almighty splash.

Thomas: Bust my buffers! Did you guys see that?!?!?

Thomas' Driver: I sure did! We need to call the breakdown train immediently.

Soon, Edward arrived with the breakdown train. The workmen immediently got to work in rescuing the blue coffeepot. They searched for hours but came up empty handed.

Workman #1: Well, that was a waste of time.

Thomas: What are you talking about? The engine is still down there!

Workman #2: What are you on about? There was no engine in the sea!

Thomas: But I saw him crash into the sea! It was a large blue coffeepot!

This peaked Edwards interest.

Edward: Thomas. did you say the engine was a blue coffeepot?

Thomas: Yes, it was! I stake that on my life!

Edward: I think you might need to talk to Glynn about this. He may know something about this incident.

Thomas: Alright, I'll ask him.

Edward: Good. You shouldn't get into trouble over this.

Thomas took his trucks all the way to the quarry. After Mavis shunted the trucks away, Thomas went back to the sheds. Percy and Toby looked at Thomas with concerned looks on their faces.

Toby: Are you alright, Thomas?

Percy: You seem stressed.

Thomas told them what he witnessed earlier today, and edwards advice. He then told the Fat Controller the same thing when he arrived at the sheds. The Fat Controller arranged for Thomas to visit Glynn at the Vicarstown Railway Museum in the morning.

Thomas went to sleep with a lot on his mind.

The next day, Thomas woke up later than usual. He got steamed up and steamed over to the VicarsTown Museum with a coal delivery there. It took a couple of hours, but finally Thomas arrived at the Vicarstown Meuseum. The resident engines greeted hum warmly. There was Glynn, the coffeepot, Niel, a box tank from the Sodor and Mainland, Colin, Adam and Lily from the Wellsworth and Suddery, Vicar, Boco's brother, His brother Timothy, and finally Juanette, a large french tank engine.

Thomas was very happy to see them again, and after making his delivery He started chatting with everyone.

Glynn: So Thomas, how are you handling the branchline?
