CHAPTER :- 11

Prem realizes he hasn't told Boun that he often visited to keep check on him.

"Oh...........I forgot to tell you. I used to go to...........see you often from two years"

"TWO YEARS? " he blurts out.

"Um... Yeah.... I was trained to be your guard. So, when my training completed, I was ordered to do so"

"Then... why didn't you meet me earlier, even once? "

Prem is unsure of what to say 'Uh..... I....... only met your mother because.......... you might have doubted me"

Boun quirks his eyebrow in confusion but then shrugs it off "..... Okayy.... "

"I think...... It's time for dinner. Sir has called everyone to dine together, you should change your clothes " Prem says pointing at the dirt on his clothes.

"You are going too? "

"No, only you and the other family members"

"........I guess, I must hurry then"

Boun goes and sits on one of the chairs. Everyone else is already seated.

"How's your training, son? How much have you learned? " Grandfather asks.

"I am getting better.......... as Prem says" He grins "The....... Aqua one is left to learn"

"That's impressive. I knew Prem would have turned out to be the best instructor for you"

"He has taken after his father in sincerity and reliability. He is one of the best swordsmen" Ben says.

"I agree.......We can be relieved about Boun's safety"

"And.......Uncle Prem plays with me" Raya says.

Everyone chuckles "Yes..... that too"

"So, about why I asked for you all today, I am thinking of celebrating Boun's homecoming"

"That's great, Father" Aunt says.

"How about next month? 10 days are left. It'll be enough for the preparations"

They all agree "It's decided then. Ben, I believe I can trust on you for the security on that day. For the occasion, we'll have to hire more workers. We'll celebrate his coming like a festival. Invite every single person from the kingdom. Start the preparations from tomorrow"

"Sure, Papa" Ben says and smiles. It's the first time Boun is seeing him grin.

"Thank you.........Papa " Boun says.

"I must be the one to thank you. I am really happy that you have agreed to give us a chance to make up for those 20 years"

Then they eat, talking and laughing with each other.

Prem's POV

I can't believe I lied to him. But I had no way out. Sir only ordered me to go talk with Prince Boun's mother and see him once. I don't why I went to see him every once in a while. I did what seemed to be the right thing.

I still remember the first time I saw him. He was studying in a library. I was sitting across the table. He looked really graceful. His face lit up by the sunlight coming from the glass window. After that moment, I couldn't get him off my mind.

When he agreed to come with me, I couldn't be happier. Now I can cherish him all I want. I will protect him with all my might, The Prince I am in love with.
