MYSTIC [Part I]

CHAPTER :- 28

Early morning, Boun wakes up by the sound of her mom knocking on the door. As soon as he opens his eyes he sees Prem lying next to him.
He takes a sigh of relief thinking he wasn't dreaming about Prem being here.

While he is beaming at his lover sleeping beside him, he hears another knock. He slowly walks to the door to not wake Prem up. He opens the door and closes carefully to not make a noise.

"Good morning, mom"

"Heyy, you must be in a good mood" she smirks. "Has he not woken up yet? "

"Yes, he travelled yesterday and then stayed up late, waiting for me . Must be feeling tired"

"Yeah, let him sleep some more, I am leaving. Breakfast's on the table. Give it to him when he wakes up....um..... I made pancakes. You're dead meat if you eat it all by yourself, Prem likes pancakes " she says eyeing him warily.

"So do I, mom" he sulks.

"So what? Do they have it in you kingdom too. He only gets to eat it when he is here. You left your boyfriend there and now you're complaining? " she scoffs.

" Okay mom, I won't take a bite of your son's food" he says jaded.

"You better! Alright, bye dear son"

"Bye dear mom" They chuckle .

Mom left.

"Boun~"

His smile gets bigger hearing Prem's voice. He turns around and sees Prem at the door, rubbing his eye.

"Where's Ma? "

"Ma! Yeah, of course you're asking about her, first thing in the morning..(sigh).....She just left for the shop" he says smiling in defeat.

"Ohh, I woke up too late"

"It's alright, you should just relax while you're here" he ruffles Prem's hair.

"Mom has made pancakes for you"

His eyes lite up hearing it. He nods and make away to the bathroom.

After having breakfast, Boun left for the cafe along with Prem.

They're on the way, in Boun's car. He is driving with Prem glancing out the window, inquisitively observing the new surroundings.

In the cafe, "How's it? " Boun asks bashfully.

"It's really good. You did it" Prem gives him the most cheerful smile.

"Uhhh, that's a relief. I just needed that. Come on, I'll show you the insides too"

After sometimes, the other two employees came. Then they open for the day.

In the afternoon. It's almost lunch time.

Ohm barges into the kitchen area from the back door and sees Boun with........ Prem.

"Heyy! Prem! Hi there"

"Hi my ass! When are you planning on not barging in like a thief? "

"Come on, I'm your best friend. I just don't get myself to breathe without seeing you " he says dramatically.

Boun rolls his eyes. Ohm hits his shoulder.

"You fuc***g-"

"Why didn't you tell me he came? "

"Why would I? So you could again tell him my embarrassing stories. I wasn't even planning on telling you that I had a boyfriend. That day too when we were home, you came unannounced. So I had to tell you unwillingly" Boun smirks.

"Ouch. I'm hurt"

"Well, hello" Prem says.

Ohm smiles at him. "Ah! I almost forgot. Did you guys had lunch yet?

"No. We were about to go"

"Then I'm just on time. Let's go"

"Who says you're coming with us? "

"I do. Come on, hurry. He must be hungry too" he says pointing at Prem.

"Whatever... " says Boun then he turns to Prem, his face softens " Shall we go? "

Prem nods .

In the restaurant, "Guys, I want to tell you something"

"Yeah? "

"Hm... Remember? I told you my webtoon was getting a really good response.....so I was offered to join a reptued label of the artists and I did "

"Congrats, man"

"Congratulations Ohm "

"Thanks guys"

Then they ordered and started eating their lunch while chatting.

"Hm..Prem, what do you do? "Ohm asks casually.

"Um... I'm.....Uh..." Prem is stunned by the sudden question.

"He graduated a few days back"

"Oh, okay"

"I'm done eating. I have to use the bathroom"

"Let me-"

"No, it's fine. I can see it from here. I'll be back" with that, Prem leaves the table.

"Boun, tell me the truth. Did you threaten him to become your boyfriend? "

"What? No, obviously not. Why would I threaten him? Who do you think I am? " he says in disbelief.

"Then how did such an innocent guy like him agree to be the boyfriend of a fool like you? " Ohm laughs at his reaction.

Boun rolls his eyes and mouths 'f**k you'.

It's evening, time to close the cafe. All the employees have left. There's only Boun and Prem left.

"Here....try it" Boun serves a plate of mochi. "...available only for my special customer"

Prem giggles and takes a mochi then tastes it
"Delicious, what is it called? "

"Mochi" Boun pats Prem's head in adoration then sits next to him. "I wanna be with you like this, every single day but.........can't do anything. I miss the days when we used to be together, for real. Even a week with you won't be enough for me"

"Uh... " Prem stuffs his mouth "..right. I didn't say I'm going back" Prem says. Boun looks at him in confusion. "Um....i forgot to tell you. Your Majesty (Boun's grandfather)
said I should be here with you. So.... Can I? Can I stay here...with you? "
