Not my sister anymore

Aether dropped his head as Lumine left. Childe hugged him and said: "Let's go home and rest."
Aether calmly nodded and they went home.  As soon as they got home, Aether went to bed without saying a word to the others.

The maid was still awake and asked what had happened. Childe told her that an old acquaintance of Aether showed up and ruined their date. After that, Childe also went to bed.
He took off his shirt and boots before getting to bed. He was about to lay down when he noticed Aether seemed to be trembling.

Childe walked over to Aether's side of the bed and saw he was crying. He bend down and gently stroked Aether's head.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Childe asked his lover quietly. Aether nodded. Childe got up and sat down next to Aether. He opened his arms and Aether hugged him tight.

"I just don't know what to do," Aether started, "when i'm looking for her she never shows up. And when i'm not, she suddenly comes to meddle in my business." He followed. "I mean, what right does she have, to tell me who i can and can't date." Aether clenched his fist as his whole entire body trembled.

"I don't know why she never shows up when you're looking for her. And I don't know why she chose not to go home with you all that time ago," Childe said, "i'm sure she'll come around some day. She just has to see things from your perspective." He followed, as he started to caress Aether's head again.

"No..." Aether whined quietly.

"What?" Childe couldn't hear what Aether said.

"I'm done. If she doesn't want to accept the way i live my life, then I won't accept her as my sister." Aether said annoyed. Childe seemed surprised by what Aether had just said. Of course he could understand why Aether was upset, but isn't saying that she's not his sister anymore going to far?

"Hey, let's clam down. You're upset, i get it. But i'm sure she was just trying to protect you." Childe said as he wiped away some of the tears that had rolled down Aether's face.

"Are you on her side now or something?"
Aether said as he scrunched his eyebrows.

"What!? No! I'm on your side obviously!" Childe said with a slight panic. "I'm just... worried about you..." He followed. "Are you really sure you don't want to see her again?" Childe asked as he put his hands on Aether's cheeks to lift up his face.

"Yes, i'm sure." Aether said firmly. "Besides, i planned on staying with you for all eternity, remember? So going back home would be quite the problem." He followed as he put his hand on Childe's thigh.
