The next morning, Childe woke up before Aether did, and so he asked the maid to prepare some herbal tea for Aether. When Aether woke up, Childe handed him the tea as Aether looked at him with an annoyed face.
"Don't look at me like that angel. Besides, you're the one who started it last night~" Childe said with an innocent smile.
"I don't want to hear another word from you, you stupid beast." Aether responded with a sore throat.
"Yes, your highness~" Childe said with a gentle voice as he kissed His lover on the head.
Around 2 pm, Childe was sitting on the couch siping his tea While Aether sat on his lap as he read a book
"Darling?" Child said as he started a conversation. "I have an appointment with mr.Zhongli in two days. He'll arrive in Snezhnaya tomorrow night." He explained.
"Really?" Aether asked surprised. He closed his book and said: "Well, i wouldn't want to intrude on your appointment. I'll go see him some other time."
Two days later, Childe was standing by the door with Aether standing next to him, ready to see him off. Once more, Childe kissed Aether on the head before putting on his jacket and opening the door. As Childe left, Aether yelled. "Have fun!" And went back to the book he was reading two days ago.
At a tavern in Snezhnaya, Childe met up with Zhongli. "So, you had something important to discuss?" Zhongli asked.
"You're smart. You've lived for thousands of years, so you must've loved allot of people." Childe started.
"I don't think i like where this conversation is going." Zhongli said calmly.
"I won't ask about your painful past. I just need some advise." Childe followed up on his former statement. Zhongli nodded for him to continue his story and so he did. Childe started explaining about how much he loves Aether and that he wants to spend the rest of his life with him, but that his sister recently showed up and messed up the mood and atmosphere. He told Zhongli that he was planning to propose to Aether, but now he's not sure if Aether'll accept because of the whole incident with Lumine.
Zhongli listened quietly as he sipped his tea. Once Childe was finally done explaining, he said: "so yeah, i was hoping you could give me your opinion on the situation, or maybe you could give me some advise..." Zhongli put down his cup and took a deep breath before louding his opinion.
