"I think you should still propose." Zhongli said. "He obviously likes you, and i don't think the thing with his sister will last long. He'll soon realize that he can't just cast family aside whenever he wants." He followed.
"Geez... i mean, i get what you mean but isn't that a little too harsh? I mean, it's not like this happened a month ago, it's quite recent, actually." Childe responded.
"I'm aware of that, but trust me, he'll get over it. His current feelings are getting in the way of focussing on the right path" Zhongli said as a small silence fell between them.
"Maybe you're right... Thank you for your advise, sorry you had to come all the way here just for me." Childe said with an awkward smile.
"No need to apologize. As Zhongli, i currently have nothing else to do, so a trip to Snezhnaya was quite nice." Zhongli said to reassure Childe.
Childe went back home and Aether greeted him by the door. As soon as he saw him, Childe offered to take a trip to Fontaine. Aether was a bit surprised by the sudden proposal to go on a trip, but Childe said it was good for old times sake, considering that they had their first date there. Aether agreed and that night, they packed for the trip. The next morning, they left early on a boat to Fontaine.
They went on a date again and had a fun time. They stayed in Fontaine for about 2 weeks when Childe decided it was finally time to make the proposal.
They obviously went on another date on the day of the proposal, had a nice expensive dinner and ended it with a nice walk through the town.
It was night and the stars were shining brighter then ever before. But to Childe, there was no one and nothing that shone as bright as his Aether. They stopped walking to take a look at
The beautiful view of the sea. Aether was leaning against Childe and Childe had his arm wrapped around Aether's waist.
"It's beautiful, don't you think?" Aether asked as he stared at the night sky. "It really is..." Childe responded, without taking his eyes off of Aether. "That's why I brought us here." Childe followed.
Aether looked at Childe when he let go of Aether's waist. "What's wrong? You've been acting weird today..." Aether asked concerned.
