Josie stood in front of her closet as she tried to pick an outfit for her date with Jed, he was taking her to the movies in about an hour and she was completely unprepared.

She was honestly regretting saying yes, but seeing the auburnette kissing Alyssa against the locker just made her... angry. And for whatever reason, she said yes.

"Too tight" she sighed and threw her shirt on the bed.

When she turned back to her closet the girl saw a red dress and pulled it out "perfect" she said before pulling off her tank and slipping on the dress.

"Where are you going?" a voice said making her jump.

The brunette turned around to see her sister leaning against the archway staring at her with furrowed eyebrows.

"To the movies with Jed..."

"He asked you out to the movies?? so is this like a date? I didn't think you'd want to date especially because of your current... predicament."

"Yes he asked me out to the movies, yes it's a date, and I don't even know why I said yes!" she sighed.

"Woah calm down, don't get yourself worked up Jo it was just a question."

"I'm sorry..."

"It's okay, now let me help you get ready," Lizzie says walking over to the vanity and pulling out the makeup bag.

"Makeup?"

"Hey even if you don't like this guy I'm not sending my twin out there looking bad, it reflects on me," Lizzie said gesturing for the brunette to sit down in the chair, Josie just rolled her eyes and sat down.

The blonde pulled out a tube of lipgloss and started applying it to Josie's lips "so have you decided when you're going to tell Hope?"

"No" she laughed humorlessly "I honestly don't even want to think about that right now."

"You're right you shouldn't, go enjoy yourself tonight" Lizzie then began applying blush.

An hour later when both the twins were lounging around in the living room they heard a knock at the front door and both shared a look.

Lizzie immediately got up and ran to the front door, Josie chased after her.

"Let me get it, go with down!" she fought her sister for the door handle.

The blonde ignored her sister and opened the door, Jed was standing on the other side, he was wearing an orange flannel with jeans.

"Hi?" he said looking between the two.

"Hi Jed" the brunette gave him a polite smile before turning toward her sister "bye Lizzie" she put her hand on the blonde's forehead and pushed her away from the door before walking out and closing it behind her.

"You ready to go?" the man said.

"Yep all ready," she said and they went to the car and got in. As Josie looked around the car she noticed how nice it was, there was a gym bag in the backseat with Jed's last name in bold letters, and it smelled like vanilla, one of Josie's favorite smells.
