Woof Woof!

Gracie prances over to the foyer and a gasp escapes me before I can choke it back looking over in that direction. It's Zak's mom.

I instantly look down at myself realizing I'm still wearing just my bralette, which normally I don't mind wearing out in public. It's cute. But, not when I'm meeting Zak's mother for the first time! I throw the last bite of my sandwich down on my plate and jump off the barstool, quickly racing upstairs before she sees me. I don't think she did, thanks to Gracie for distracting her.

Zak's POV

"Mom! What are you doing here?" I ask curiously.

"I didn't know if you were home yet so I came back over to check on Miss Gracie," she rubs Gracie's head and looks back up at me.

"You didn't notice my car in the driveway?" I hint.

"Well, Zak, you have multiple cars. How am I supposed to know if you're home just because I see a car?" She has a fair point.

We make our way to the living room and she gets comfortable on the couch, setting her purse down on the coffee table. "So, I remember you telling me you met a girl. I would very much like to finally meet her, Zak."

I remember back to when I did in fact tell her about Shawn, but I honestly can't remember if I mentioned the age difference and she definitely doesn't know about her cancer. I could only hope this goes well as I was not planning this today. In a way I'm happy that Shawn is meeting her now before the worst happens. Finally, I see Shawn coming back down the stairs as I internally thank her for taking me away from the thought of her no longer being here. She's dressed in her shorts and a more modest black tee shirt compared to her sexy bra thing that made me constantly want to fuck her.

"Well, here she is," I gesture to Shawn as she descends the last step. I glance over to my mother who is staring at Shawn with a blank expression. I will say Shawn looks and acts much older than she appears, but I can tell my mother knows she's well too young.

Shawn hold out her hand in greeting as she approaches my mom. "Hi, I'm Shawn. It's nice to meet you," she smiles.

"Nice to meet you as well, sweetheart. I'm Nancy," my mom accepts Shawn's hand. "I've heard a lot about you."

"Uh oh," Shawn looks at me nervous. "All good things, I hope."

"Wonderful things," my mom assures her. "Well, unfortunately I can't stay. I was just making sure Gracie was okay and someone was here. Maybe we can meet for lunch one day and really talk?"

"Yes, that would be great," Shawn agrees.

"Bye, you too. Have fun!"

"Oh, mom!" I catch her before she's out the door. "Remember tomorrow we leave for an investigation. I'll be back Sunday afternoon."

"That's fine, dear. Gracie is in good hands," she pets her one more time before leaving, reassuring me that she's able to care for her while I'm gone.

"Was that okay? Was I okay?" Shawn asks frantically at the meeting of my mom.

"You were perfect," I smile kissing her forehead. "Now go take this shirt off so I can stare at you in that sexy bra thing all day," I tug at her shirt desperately. Pink floods over Shawn's cheeks at my words, but she does as I requested.

Shawn's POV

I freshen up my make up with mascara, powder, natural colored eye shadow, and a nude pink lip gloss before tying up my black chucks and meeting Zak back downstairs. I keep my hair in a messy, but cute top knot bun. "Are you sure you don't mind we wearing just my bralette out?"
