Ten and Cherrie happily walked together to the said place where she and her brother would meet up. The smile never left their lips as they held hands and swung them like they're going to their favorite arcade. "Are you excited to meet your brother Cherrie?" Ten asked. Cherrie then nodded in response. "I am curious about what he looks like. Are you two identical?"

"I think so mister Ten, but I think Perrie is cuter than me." Cherrie pouted her lips while looking at the sky, making Ten chuckle at how cute she is. "No, don't say that. I haven't seen him yet but I can tell that both of you are the cutest children in the whole world." Cherrie let out a soft giggle as she felt Ten's hands holding her face. He looked at her like she is the most perfect child that he had ever seen. "So, how about we go there and eat something? You must me hungry." Ten tilted his head in confusion when Cherrie went quiet after he said those words. Fearing that he might offended the little girl, he kneeled down and tightened his hold on her hands. "I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?" Ten gave her an apologetic look. "I-I don't think I'm allowed to go in there, I don't have any money..." Her response made Ten chuckle.

"You don't have to worry, the people who work there will be your friend. Just trust me, okay?" Cherrie nodded. After Ten's comfort, they continued to walk on their way to the cafe. It was a peaceful walk of the two when suddenly-

"CHERRIE!!"

Cherrie immediately turned her back when she heard a very familiar voice calling her name, and it was her twin brother. "Perrie!!" Cherrie's hand flawlessly slid out of Ten's hold, she then ran to give him a tight hug. "Oh, so that was Perrie..." Ten looked at the twins in a small distance, smiling as he imagines his life with the twins living with him. Ten could tell that both of them are crying out of joy, it was the happiest day of their life.

Except for Ten.

His smile immediately turned upside down when he heard a voice that made his life a living hell years ago. "Out of all people..." Ten stared at the man who is talking to the twins. "So, you must be Cherrie..." The man gave the little girl a smile, looking like he was insulting Ten in every part. "Come on Cherrie, Perrie." Ten hurriedly ran to take the twins out of his hold, but was stopped when the man he was avoiding spoke. "I never thought I'm going to meet you here. I'm sorry, but they're staying with me." Ten gave him a glare as a response. "Shut up, Kun. You're not the law." He then gave Ten a smirk, making him frustratedly sigh in response. "Okay fine, ATTORNEY. But just because you're a lawyer, doesn't mean that you can get the kids in your own will. Cherrie wants to stay with me."

"But Perrie wants to stay with me, and he doesn't want him and Cherrie to be separated again, so I have to get the two." With pure confidence, Kun stared at Ten while raising his chin up high, looking like he was insulting him in the worst ways possible. "Cherrie is staying with me." Ten glared at the formally dressed man in front of him, gently pulling the little girl back to his spot. "So, you want them to be separated again?" That question made Ten rethink of his current decisions. He then looked at Cherrie who also stared at him with sad eyes. "Mister Ten, I want to stay with you..." Ten couldn't resist those sad eyes. He wanted to raise them as his own, but her other half wanted to stay with the other. "Hey, that man will treat you two like you're the most special human beings on earth. You want to be reunited with your twin, right?" Ten kneeled in front of the girl, staring at her eyes that were forming balls of tears. "Now that you're with Perrie, I'll be going to work." Ten then waved at the twins with joy before glaring at Kun as if he was Satan himself.

"Hm? You're way too early today, did something happened?" Hendery hesitantly gave Ten the apron as he saw him enter the store with angry footsteps, he didn't even bother to say thank you to Hendery for handing him the apron. "Ooh, bad day..." Hendery whispered as he headed back to where he's supposed to be. "Are you okay? You look... Not yourself today." YangYang, standing behind Ten asked in a concerning tone. "You know, you can't face those people with that kind of mood." He added. "About the child I talked about last night..." The three stopped on what they're doing when they heard Ten finally talk. "Kun got her."

"Kun kidnapped the child?!" YangYang gasped, making the people inside the cafe look at them with curiosity. "No! He was the one who found her twin yesterday, and now he wanted to raise the two. I have no choice but to give her to him because I also want her to have a good life." Ten covered his face with his hands, a loud sigh then escaped from his mouth after. "Out of all people... Why do I have to meet with that bastard?!" He whined, not caring about the strangers inside. He then quickly stood up when he heard the door opening, and it was the man that he would never want to encounter ever again. "Shit! Tell him I'm not here and I never work here!" After that, he immediately ran to the storage room, leaving the three in the counter. "Hey! Good morning! What can I do for you today?" YangYang greeted. "Hey, uh... You're Ten's friends right?" The two nodded in response. "Is he here? I noticed him walking towards this place."

"Oh! Him? No he's not here and he's not working with us, unfortunately. May I ask why?" Hendery leaned closer to have a closer look on his face. He had to admit, he is becoming more attractive with his formal clothing. "I just want to have a proper discussion with him about something."

"Is it about the kids? Ooh! Hey there!" Hendery waved at the twins as he leaned forward to join the conversation. "Y-Yeah... He just walked out without saying anything, I just want to discuss this with him properly." Kun replied, smiling at the kids who are also waving happily at Hendery. "Okay, we'll tell him after work."

"Thank you so much. I'll take three strawberry shortcakes by the way."

Ten stared at the stars above him as he opened his third can of beer with his head resting on his window. He sighed as he realized that he has to live with this uneasy silence again, where all the nightmares from his past haunt him continuously. His emotional thoughts got cut off by the ringing of his phone, he immediately answered it, thinking it was just one of his friends, but he was surprised to see an unknown number on his screen. "H-Hello?"

"Mister Ten!!!"

Ten's heart melted when he heard the girl's voice once again. "Cherrie! How are you?"

"You were right Mister Ten! He treats us good, he even bought us strawberry shortcakes this morning!"

Strawberry shortcakes, huh?

"See? I told you he's a great guy." Ten did his best not to gag at his reply. He is sure that Kun will give the life that they deserve, but he has no energy to compliment him like that. "Aren't you going to sleep already? It's getting late."

"Right! Goodnight Mister Ten! Here you go Mister Kun, thank you for letting me call him."

Wait, Kun?!

"How did you get my number you dumbass?!" Ten raised his voice when he was sure that Kun was now the one holding the phone.

"None of your business."

"You creepy ass bastard! Answer my quest-" The call suddenly ended, not even letting Ten finish his words. He then sighed in frustration, his friends must've gave his number to him while he was hiding to avoid his presence.

Why can't I have a normal life?
