Ten's sleepy footsteps changed when he heard the children's fast steps coming towards him. "Mister Ten! You're finally here!" Cherrie immediately gave him a tight hug, not caring if they fall off the floor. "Cherrie! I missed you!" Ten then smiled at Perrie as he noticed his awkward looks when his twin clings to him. "Hi, Perrie! Nice to meet you!" Ten spread his arms, offering another space for Perrie to cling to right next to his sister. "We wanted to pick you up too last night Mister Ten, but we fell asleep."

"I understand that, and it's okay! Mister Kun took a very good care of me." Ten gave the twins his reassuring smile, along with his reassuring words, though he actually felt the opposite around him. He got up on his knees when he heard Kun's footsteps slowly getting closer to the three. "Breakfast's ready Cherrie, Perrie..." Kun stood in silence as he took a look at Ten, his bubbly face then became stoic as he landed his eyes on him. "Ten."

"No, I have to go there early. I'm taking Hendery's place for now." Without any hesitation, Ten got up and walked away from the three. Just as he was about to reach the door, he heard Kun calling his name once again. "Ten, you're not going anywhere." It was as if Kun himself was blocking his way, he couldn't move forward. "I'm not hungry." At a far distance, he still could hear Kun's frustrated sigh, but that didn't bother him to look at the three. He remained standing while just listening to the sounds of the utensils clashing onto each other. Not even a few minutes later, Kun came back with a lunchbox on his hands. He then handed the freshly packed lunch to Ten with the usual cold look he always gives to his only enemy. "Just pick up the kids at 4 in the afternoon. I might be very busy today."

Before Ten could speak, Kun already walked past through him while holding the twin's hands. Sigh is the only thing he could do as an unseen response, he didn't have a choice but to bring the lunchbox to his work. "Maybe that YangYang will like it..." Said Ten as he locked the doors, mentally preparing himself to face strangers again.

"Ten? Are you there?" Ten snapped out of his thoughts when he saw YangYang's hand waving right in front of him. "Y-Yeah..." In a soft voice, Ten responded to his concerned friend. "I know that you have been through a lot right now, that's why we're here for you." Ten then gave him a small, reassuring smile. But even though his friends don't have a big brain all the time, they can still see whether their friend is okay or not. "Thank you."

"This might not be the right time but... Where did you sleep last night?" YangYang, out of curiosity asked Ten while clinging onto his arm. "It's okay, I slept at Kun's." The words for a response instantly got stolen from YangYang's mind as he heard that from Ten himself. "He picked me up from my house last night." While Ten was explaining everything, he couldn't help but sharing suspicious glances in the blank air, mentally asking if the universe returned the right Ten or the wrong version of him. "I know what you're thinking right now, and no, I also don't know how he got my address."

"He must've gotten it from the news. It's good that Kun offered you a shelter. A temporary one, at least." YangYang replied. "It'll be temporary, I hope. I can't imagine myself living with that bastard." Ten stood up straight when he heard the sound of the wind chimes right above their door, he has to set his problems aside first, his work is his top priority for the day.

"Mister Ten!" Ten's eyes lightened up with enthusiasm as the twins ran towards him. "Hey, did you guys do well?" As the three were enjoying the hug, a woman approached them with her warm and trusted smile. "Hi, I assume that you are their father." Ten couldn't think of any words to tell the woman that he's no one's father, and he could not just deny the kids right in front of them. "Yeah, I am."

"So, that other man must be their uncle or something..." Ten immediately knew who the woman was talking about. "Y-Yeah, something like that. Do you need anything?" Ten nervously laughed. "I'm Cherrie and Perrie's teacher, Yohan. I'm staying here with them while they wait for you." Ten stood up to level with the woman's height, then shared the same smile as hers. "Oh, thank you. I'm sorry I got late, things just got busy at work."

"It's fine. Your kids are doing very well in school. I think they're too afraid to socialize with the other kids, but it'll be fine." Yohan spoke as he ruffled one of the twin's fluffy hair. "Yeah, we'll work on that." Ten responded.

"No pressure though, they're just kids." Yohan replied. "Yeah, thank you very much." Ten bowed for the last time before walking away from the school. As the three walked silently towards Ten's car, Perrie's thoughts were clouded by that time Ten claimed that he's their dad, if he really mean it or not. "Mister Ten?" The soft adorable voice made Ten stop his steps. "Yes, Perrie?"

"A-Are you now our father?"

Perrie's innocence melted Ten's heart. "Well, if you want to, I can stand as your dad." Ten can see the light in their eyes, and it made his soul spark in joy once again.

Ten got lost in his train of memories just like the usual routine of his mind. His mind was so occupied that he didn't notice someone walking towards him. "Dumbass, think fast." The voice behind Ten made him turn around without hesitation and catch whatever he's throwing. It was Kun throwing him a can of beer, with his usual stoic face. "You really can't give me peace, can you?" Ten sighed.

"This is my peaceful place as well." Kun replied, opening the canned beer with his hand. After that, a short silence followed.

"I saw you hitting on Cherrie and Perrie's teacher." Kun's words made Ten stop sipping his cold beer, giving him a cold, blank, and a judging stare. "What the hell are you talking about? You were following me the whole time?!" Kun sighed at Ten's response. "Chill, Satan. I forgot that you were the one who'll pick the kids up so I went to their daycare."

"Kun, I saw her pin. She's literally a lesbian, and you know that I'm as straight as a rubber band. Even if I wanted to, she will never get attracted to me. You can't get that woman either." Kun gave him a suspicious look, he stopped sipping his beer when he heard Ten's response. "Are you out of your mind? I'm not jealous because you got her attention."

"What?"

Kun just realized what he had just revealed.

"I have a client to defend tomorrow, I have to sleep." Kun hurriedly left the terrace, holding his half empty canned beer, and leaving Ten confused and annoyed.

"That bastard."
