Ten sighed as he stood in the middle of the glassware aisle, looking for the similar glass that he broke. With Perrie and Cherrie holding both of his hands, he was trying his best not to make them feel that he's not okay.

"Mister Ten?" His train of unwanted thoughts were cut off when he felt Perrie poking his arm. "Yes, Perrie? Everything okay? Do you want to buy something?" Perrie shook his head in response. "Are you okay?"

Ten couldn't believe that the twins noticed. He remained silent for a few seconds, thinking of some words to describe his current feelings without worrying the twins. Ten then looked at the kids with his usual warm smile. "I'm fine, Perrie. Why do you ask?" Before Perrie could even answer his question, Ten immediately turned his attention to the pile of glasses.

"There it is!" Ten then happily grabbed the box of glasses, gently placing the fragile object in his basket with the twins holding his hands. "Let's pay for this and go home after. Are you guys sure that you don't want anything?" In response, the twins both shook their heads. Now, the three then paid for the glass and went on their way home.

The moonlight shone on the windows as the night goes by. After tucking the kids to bed, Ten stayed on the living room, drawing in silence.

His peaceful silence got cut off when he noticed the door opening, revealing the exhausted Kun. Unbothered by his presence, Ten continued on his own business.

"How's work?"

Kun remained silent for a few seconds, confused at Ten's sudden caring actions towards him. "Uh... The trial went well, as always. Why do you ask?" Kun asked as he sat down across him. "Am I not allowed to ask?" Ten's now usual rude and cold behavior made Kun sigh in frustration.

And just when I thought he's now becoming nice.

Kun chose to ignore his question, and proceeded to talk about another topic to lighten up the atmosphere with his highschool enemy. "Are you drawing naked people again?" Kun looked at him as he tilted his head.

"Another art commission, so yeah, obviously." Kun let out another sigh, followed by a glare. "You and your asshole behavior." Before Ten could open his mouth, Kun threw an envelope across the table, confusing Ten. "What the fuck is this?" Ten asked, showing him how confused and annoyed he was.

"I'm planning to adopt the twins. I'm processing their papers now." Kun answered coldly, now avoiding Ten's gaze. "Mhm, good for you then." Ten's expression now relaxed when he heard the news. He then came back to what he was doing.

"Yeah, we're gonna be taking care of the twins like our own."

"Yeah--WHAT?!" Ten's eyes widened in shock as he heard those words. He stood up and leaned closer to Kun to show him how surprised he was. "Are you out of your fucking mind?!" Ten's response made Kun chuckle a bit. "Lower your voice, Satan. The kids are sleeping ."

"I never gave you my permission to put my name in there!" Ten replied. His frustration then grew bigger. "You don't wanna take care of the kids as your own?" With sarcasm, Kun looked at him with his puppy eyes and asked him as if he was an innocent child. Ten called it as the most annoying expression of Kun in the whole mankind.

"I want to take care of the kids like they're my own children, but not with you! I'd rather die!" Ten's glare slowly became more intimidating to Kun, but he didn't show a pinch of fear to him. "You will be taking care of the twins with me, and that's final." Kun then gave him his teasing smirk, triggering Ten's anger. "I swear to God, Qian Kun! If you don't erase my name there..."

"Or what?" With a smirk on his face, Kun leaned back confidently, pissing Ten even more. "I will kill you in your sleep." Ten whispered, not wanting the kids to hear their daily argument. While Kun was enjoying Ten's rage, his attention then suddenly turned to a box right beside Ten's pencil. He really bought the glass he broke. "Ten, I already told you not to buy it."

Ten calmed down. "No, I broke it."

"It was just a cheap glass, Ten! It's no big deal!" He knew damn well that Ten is a stubborn man, but it bothers him that he treats small and simple problems big. "Just take it, asshole!" Ten then pushed the box towards Kun before walking away, leaving Kun confused. "Dumbass..." Kun had no choice but to take the glass.

On the other side of the house, Ten just stood silently, his thoughts are filled with both sadness and frustration. "That bitch..." A long sigh escaped from his lips as he headed on his way to the twins' room.

Now that he thought about it, being a dad to those twins won't be that bad. He'll just treat them like his own children without molding a relationship with Kun.

A smile appeared on his lips when he saw the twins sleeping peacefully through the door, as if they had their own little, happy world. It made Ten happy.

"You're only gonna give them a nightmare. Close the door."

The sudden voice coming from behind made him jump in surprise. "Can you not do that?!" Ten widened his eyes, trying to intimidate Kun. "Listen, Ten. I apologize for my sudden actions. I should've talked to you about that first, but..." Kun took a deep breath before looking back at Ten, while the other stared at him coldly, impatiently waiting for him to finish his words. "... Cherrie never stopped talking about you. Even after I took both of them, she enthusiastically tells me and Perrie how nice you are, and how she likes you to be her adoptive father."

Kun's response made Ten surprisingly speechless. He couldn't believe that the child he got attached to actually felt the same way to him, and now, he's definitely sure that he'll stand as one of their fathers. "Cherrie... Cherrie wants me to be her dad? But I only did the bare minimum. I mean, of course I'd love to stand as their dad, but... Why?"

"You do realize that she's a child, right? A child that was abandoned by her parents, a child who is desperate for a parents' love. It's not that surprising that she'll obviously grow attached to a bare minimum treatment." Kun sighed as he closed the twins' bedroom door. "You are her hero, Ten." Kun stared at Ten, patiently waiting for him to respond. Doing such a decision was so pressuring to Ten, he loved to have the twins under his guidance as their father, but doing it with the person he hate the most... It was difficult to just say yes. Ten then looked up and looked Kun straight in the eyes.

"I'll think about it, Kun."
