So as I've written one-shots about a parallel universe in which the real Tim Drake reads fanfiction I've written on him, this is a similar chapter featuring Jason Todd from that universe going through the fanfics I've written featuring him as the main character.

He starts reading the Coffeeverse book Gunpowder And Cocktails first then goes on to Fallen Angel then to Oculus and finally to Espera. Even though Espera doesn't feature him as the main character, he couldn't let go of reading a story with major Bruce roasting and major changes to the timeline.

Also, he's the only one of the Batboys who bothered reading the Profile Guide first and knows exactly what books he should check out. The rest of them plunged in without warning (all except Damian though he got absolutely furious while reading the character guide Demon Brat and finding out that one fictional version of him actually killed Richard, but that's a story for another time).

Well, without further ado, let's begin.

~•~

When Jason found out about Tim's latest dilemma and borderline obsession, he couldn't resist checking it out. So he went onto his PC, got the faulty IP address, and accessed Wattpad from his phone.

He just had to find out what had gotten Tim invested so much that he actually took an off from patrol. That never happened, Timothy Drake would never ditch patrol for anything.

So when Jay found out that the impossible had happened and Babybird was finally taking an off from patrol after one whole year of being regular, he couldn't put his curiosity to rest. He simply had to see for himself why the boy was so hooked on reading some weird story.

Scrolling through the writer's account, he found a Profile Guide and went through it first to sort out which stories had been written about him. Surprisingly, the number was much less than he expected... The exact half of fanfics written on Tim to be precise. "Replacement has 8 fanfics written on him? Preposterous!"

But it was still better than Richard and Damian who both had 2 fanfics each.

Having a sort of background about the Coffee And Liquor Series from having to listen to Tim whining about it nonstop, he chose to read Gunpowder And Cocktails first.

"Wait, is this my story or Rose's?" He mumbled, going through the first few chapters that mainly focused on Rose Wilson. A few minutes later he realized why. "Oh, so me and Rose are the endgame pairing here? Ah... Not complaining."

The two had dated a while back though it was not in the knowledge of his family. And he preferred to keep it a secret from them forever.

Not that anything could stay under wraps for long as Tim and Steph were rather proficient at digging up dirt on people. However, he was also fully aware of how to shut their devious little mouths up by giving them the right price.

"Though it would have been better if the author here was thoughtful enough to include Roy and Kori as well."

He didn't want his family to consider him a source of entertainment by listening to his commentary, so he went up to the roof while they were all busy hovering outside Tim's room.

"Now let's get this done with zero interruptions," he took in a breath of fresh air and sat down, eyes fixing on the screen.

Unlike Tim, he was a comparatively silent reader. Jason was the sort of person who would go to a lonely spot, preferably inaccessible by others, and read the entire book in one sitting peacefully.

Usually, he would go to Bruce's study or to Gotham Tower but right then, the roof was also a considerable option.

None of his siblings would bother enough to check if he went missing for a few hours. And definitely, none of them would bother coming all the way up to the roof to check.
