Background: Adopted by Richard Grayson as a younger brother and was the first to join him in his decision of saving the innocent citizens of Gotham.

Hobbies: Performing theater plays, reading classics and poetry, cooking and baking with Richard, going to every bakery in the city with his best friend Laurie, and teasing Richard and Barbara whenever he gets the chance.
Personality: This version of Jason is much different from others since this is an AU fanfic in which Bruce never became Batman, instead Richard eventually took up the identity of the Dark Knight.
The prominent personality facts about him are as follows:
• Very cheerful and usually optimistic.
• There are rare times when he gives in to his pessimism but those times are the worst for him as well as the people who have to deal with him in such a state.
• Incorrigible sweet tooth.
• Excellent cook and loves to show off his skills to anyone and everyone.
• Can get a bit reckless at times.
• Impatient.
• Gives off the impression that he is fearless and not scared by anyone. However, he easily gets terrified of Helena and also of Richard when the elder gets angry.
• Has a passion of becoming an actor. Works in the Gotham Theater and occasionally gets the chance to do minor roles in the play. However, he is good at acting and his dialogue delivery is impeccable so it's only a matter of time for him to be given major roles too.
• Somewhat possessive of the people he holds dear.
• Goes out of his way to help his friends.
• Gets jealous easily and is slightly insecure. Since Richard is the only one who matters most to him, when the elder decided to take Tim in, Jay was not in favor of that decision.
• But he did not resent Tim, instead he tried to be friendly towards the boy.
• After Tim's suicide, Jason too was a lot shaken up and that incident changed a lot for both him and Richard.
• He tries his best to follow the example Richard set as a caring brother and hs become responsible over time.

Origin story: (does not follow canon storyline).
In this story, Jason was never adopted by Bruce Wayne. Instead, his father had been imprisoned and his mother died from a drug overdose while he fended for himself in the streets. One day when he was cornered by a thug who accused him of stealing his money and was going to kill the boy as he held a pistol to his head, Richard stepped in and saved Jay, almost killing the thug in his rage. However, Jason was able to persuade him not to and from that day onward the two became friends. Learning that Jay had no family left, Richard took him in as his younger brother.
