Max carefully put on jane's lipstick.Not wanting to look like a clown if the car suddenly stopped.When max was done she looked over at jame and put on a bit more lipstick then she needed before putting it back.

She looked at a picture of her and Mike that was taped to the car's window from the inside.It was him and jane they were holding hands a smile on both of there faces.Max shifted uncomfortably in her seat not wanting to look at the picture.Every time she did mike's eyes seemed to be laughing at her which pissed her off.

After a few more minutes of shifting from position to another max looked at Jane then back to the picture.Max untapped the picture from the window and out it on the ground so Jane would think it fell off.

Just because it made her feel good.

She stepped on it.

Eleven hugged her pillow tightly it smelled like max.Of corse it would she was using max's shirt as a pillowcase.She had no idea why.Max gave it to her when her shirt got dirty and she been using it ever since.That was a month ago and max never brought it up she didn't even ask for her shirt back.

But the smell of her pillow made her feel weird. A feeling she never got around Mike or anyone else accept max of course.

Maybe it was because max was her best friend.

Max moved around in bed thinking of Jane she couldn't help herself.A part of her wanted to ruin their friendship but another part was to afraid to confess.And besides max knew that Jane wouldn't like her.The girl was probably straight and if she wasn't she already had a boyfriend.

But the thought just wouldn't leave her head.They shouldn't be friends they should be lovers instead.Max blushed and smacked herself with a pillow.God Jane was going to drive her crazy if she kept thinking about her.

Max turned around again to face a wall full of pictures of her friends over the years.Most of them were with Jane and others were with the rest of the party.Max started at one of them the one she loved and hated the most.

It was from a while ago.Perhaps a year or so.They were at this halloween party playing truth and dare.And you probably see where that went.Btu if you don't max and Jane were dared to kiss each other.

Max didn't feel to happy about it but still did it because she would NEVER back down from a dare.

But this one wasn't that bad.

Jane picked up comic book it looked old.Jane checked the date,yeah it was old alright.Jane opened it and scanned though it just looking at the drawings of course.It smelled a lot like max and her room and her bed.Well it was hers and since it was old she could take it.Right? She couldn't go to jail for taking a comic book from her friend because it smelled like her.

She sounded like she obsessed with her.Which was weird she shouldn't be thinking like this she had a boyfriend.

Max smacked herself with her pillow over and over again."You.Can't.Like.Her" she repeated again and again.
But she couldn't get the goddamn thought out of her head,Max threw the pillow on the ground and laid down on her stomach.She started to scream but it was muffled.

Jane was her dearest friend and she couldn't afford to lose her.But she also wanted to ruin their friendship.

But for some reason deep down she knew her love for mike wouldn't grow and it wouldn't last long.
