Mike took a deep breath as he knocked on the door.It had been about two months since he left.No.He hadn't left he had been kicked out for being a 'queer' which made no sense.His mother answered as soon as she saw him she hugged him and her eyes started to water."Mike I wished you so much! It's going to be alright" she said still holding him in a tight hug.Mike hugged her back and out his head on her shoulder."I divorced your father a week after you left" Karen said smiling at him.

Finally that man that he should call father had left.It was his dad who had kicked him out after all.Karen broke the hug and pulled him in side.Holly was in the couch she was swing her legs her hair was in two buns.Holly looked up at Mike and got up and hugged him.Holly was one of his favorite people Mike got down and hugged her again.

Mike sat on his front porch staring at the Byers house.He had left without a word to any of them.He didn't even tell Will.Mike turned to his right when he hears loud voices.It was the party they were all arguing about something.Mike didn't call them over they would be angry at him that he left without a explanation.Mike watched as they all entered the Byers house still arguing.Before Will entered he looked back at Mike.Will shut the door and rubbed his eyes and looked at Mike again.Mike got up and waved at him and smiled.

Will walked over to him and hugged him tight "Mike..." he mumbled his head on Mike's shoulder.Mike put his hand in Will's hair."Why did you leave?" Will asked looking at Mike.Mike looked down "my dad kicked me out when I told him I liked guys" Mike mumbled "but my mom divorced him a month ago" Mike said smiling at will.

"It's gonna be okay now" Mike said smiling at will again.

Suddenly the door of the Byers house opened it was Dustin.He looked at will then at Mike before "guys!" Dustin yelled turning back into the house."Do you think they'll be mad?" Mike asked breaking the hug."Max will be mad but the others won't" will answered smiling at Mike.

"Will,do you like the rain?" Mike asked looking up at the stars.They were laying in the back of mike's pick up truck in the middle of the forest.It has took a lot of convincing from mikes mom to let him go out far from the house,she was scared he would leave again."I love the rain it's peaceful,you know?" Will responded."I think I do" Mike responded looking at Will.Will turned to look at Mike before they both sat up.

"What time is it?" Will asked looking around the forest.The trees were big and tall it looked like they were some how protecting the two.Mike shrugged "I don't know but it can't be that late we left at 7 it most be 8 or something" Mike said.

The two stared at each other and smiled."You promise me you won't leave me again?" Will said titling his head.
Mike nodded.

"I promise"
