Alright, there's like a three week time gap in this chapter. I am so sorry to keep skipping time like that. It is so unintentional but these are pre-written chapters and it would be kind of a lot to go back and change stuff. There's also some more time gaps in the next few chapters, but I will try to cut them out from there on out. I really just didn't want it to be like a day to day thing.

Also, I'm going back and editing everything so I can get new chapters out.

"What do you want Morgan," Chris sighed.

I pouted a little bit at the way he answered the phone but said what I called to say anyway.

He must have known I felt some type of way because he said "I'm just kidding" in a lighter tone.

"Look, I'm sorry, okay," I said for the thousandth time.

He cleared his throat. "That's fine. I just wish you told me earlier."

"Chris-"

"Morgan, I told you it was fine. Drop it aight?"

About two weeks ago I told Chris that I just want to be friends with him for now. It hurt me to say it just as much as it hurt him to hear it. I felt really bad and I still do. We were practically a couple already and then I go tell him that I don't want that anymore.

We've been distant and I'm really starting to question whether or not I want to keep things the way they are. I never intended on getting so attached to him that I wouldn't know what to do with myself if we ever fell apart, but it happened and I seriously don't know what to do.

He said he understands where I'm coming from but I still feel bad. I feel horrible. We were glued to the hip. It was like we grew up together from diapers, and now it's the complete opposite. I only see him when all of us hang out as a group.

"Alright, fine," I sighed.

"How 'bout this, aight? I'll come pick you up and we can go to the movies and pick up somethin' to eat then chill at my house. What you doin' right now?"

"Sitting."

"Okay, I'll be there in like 15 minutes."

"Okay."

And then we hung up. I couldn't help the little flutter that erupted in my chest and my stomach. This is our first time hanging out separate from the group since we stopped talking. I missed him. I missed us, to be honest.

And like he said, Chris was outside in the next 15 minutes.

"Hey," he sent me a small smile after I opened the door.

"Hey."

"You ready?"

"Oh, wait let me grab a jacket."

"You good. I got one in the car. Let's go," he nodded.

I didn't say anything else and walked out the house, locking the door behind me.

"What movie you wanna see," he opened my door.

I hate when does that. He'll open the door for me while asking me a question and then I have to wait to give him an answer because he has to go all the way to other side and get in.

"I don't know. Either Avengers or Furious 7," I shrugged.

"Aight, we'll see what it's lookin' like when we get there."
