Chapt. 5

______________

Morgan-Riley Hurst

"Hello?"

"So, I need your help."

"What's wrong?"

"I like Chris."

She just laughed. This wasn't a laughing matter in my opinion. I wanted to tell her to shut up but I knew she'd have something good to say when she was done.

"Tell him then. What you called me for?" Maybe not.

"Because I need your help," I whined. "I don't want to tell him."

"You made me tell Michael how I feel and now you have to do the same. Listen to your own advice Morgan. Duh."

I threw my head back. She really thinks taking your own advice is easy? I really don't want to tell Chris anything. To be honest, I don't even know where these feelings came from. I've been spending too much time with him.

"I'll do it for you if you want."

"For real?"

The only reason I'm so hesitant is because I haven't even known the boy for that long. I really don't want to rush into things. I don't even know if he really likes me like he's saying and I don't want to put my feelings out there if he's only playing games.

"You thought," she started back laughing. I whined into the phone. "No seriously. You're scared. Why are you scared?"

"I don't want him to hurt me So," I admitted.

"Trust me, Morgan. I've known Chris for a long time. He a smooth son of a bitch but he doesn't ever want a relationship with a female just to hurt her. Give it a shot."

"But are you sure, So?"

"Okay, bye Morgan. You're being way too difficult."

I sucked my teeth. "What? No I'm not! You're just not used to having actual girl feelings, you're such a dude when it comes to having crushes and allat."

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever. But I really do think you should tell him. And I would say let him approach you first, but hell. He's done that several times already. So now it's your turn." I heard shuffling around in the back. She's probably about to go out with Michael's noodle ass.

"Thanks, So. Bye." All that noise was aggravating. "Tell my baby I said hey."

"Okay, bye. Don't be scared, aight?"

"Okay, I'll try. Bye," I hung up the phone.

I already know Chris is about to have a big head about it. With Chris...everything is about Chris. So the fact that somebody actually likes him back is about to put him on a thousand. Not saying it's like a shocker that somebody would like him.

"Now tell me, Morgan-Riley," Chris spoke with a smirk on his face. "Did you really come over here to just chill or are you trying to get in my pants like those other females because I am no hoe and I refuse to be treated like one." He had the most serious face ever.

"What," I laughed. "Chris move now, it's windy!"

"I'm just playing," he let me in. "What's up though?"
