Morgan-RileyI frowned at Sochitta as she argued with Michael for like the third time since she's been at my house. It's like no matter how much they loved on each other, they always ended up cussing each other out.
"Let me talk to him." I held my hand out for her phone.
She rolled her eyes as hard as she could and slammed her phone in my hand. "Can't stand his ass."
"Shut up." I told her and pressed the phone to my ear. "Hello?"
"Man, what the fuck is wrong with her?" Michael asked me.
"I don't know. Clearly you did it. She was perfectly fine when she first got here."
"Got where?"
"Here. To my house."
"That's where she at? At your house?"
"Yeah?" I said as if I were questioning her whereabouts myself. "She's been here since this morning."
"Give the phone back to her."
"Um, excuse you?"
"Morgan, give the phone to Sochitta please."
"Nope." I shook my head as if he could see. "Why y'all arguing?"
"Because I asked her ass where she was at and she ain't ever answer me. I been calling her and she just been ignoring my calls so I got pissed and told her I was just gon' go chill with somebody who gon' pay me some attention."
I could just imagine him doing that little nonchalant shrug he does often.
"Why would you say that to her? Are you stupid or something?"
"Need to be asking ya friend that. Ask her if she stupid."
"No because you shouldn't have even said that. Did you ask her why she was ignoring you?"
"Nah."
"Maybe you should've started there instead of saying you was gonna go chill with some other female. I swear to God y'all niggas is mad stupid for no reason. This whole thing is childish and I don't even care anymore. Bye."
I tossed the phone back to Sochitta and went to continue my conversation with Chris. He's been acting real distant and to say it's getting on my nerves would be an understatement. He's not talking to me about his feelings and I'm not used to that. He's usually so open with me about everything.
He's been short texting me and not answering my calls. Deciding to try my luck one last time, I tapped on his contact and listened while the phone began to ring.
"What?" He sighed.
"What is wrong with you?" My tone came off more harsh than I meant.
"I done already told you ain't nothing wrong with me, man."
"Okay, so why are talking to me like your world is just about to come crashing down?"
He let out the most dramatic groan in the world. "Because it is, babe!"
"What are you talking about? You're really starting to piss me off."
