CHAPTER-33

Jimin smiled slightly while a certain strawberry blonde was having a full-blown karaoke session beside him.

"Maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much but maybe this thing was a masterpiece till you tore it all up......." Rosè screamed the lyrics to Taylor Swift's All Too Well.

"This song is such a banger." Rosè exhaled once she was finished. She stretched her hands and then put her hair in a ponytail.

"Oh, you made that really obvious." Jimin said amusedly, "I see you like a good breakup song."

"I love a good breakup song. They are the best at making me feel something." She told him, "My next song is a breakup song. I mean, you can interpret it however you want, but it is a breakup song from me." She finished.

"Is it.....about someone in particular" Jimin flinched at his awful attempt at casualness.

Chae's eyebrows knitted down, "Noooooo" her Australian accent quite obvious, "Not anyone in particular but more about a feeling."

"Interesting." Jimin said, "You like to write your songs on guitar, don't you?"

"That's my normal songwriting routine. Yes." She answered, "That's what I've always known. We were still living in Australia when I started writing songs. I would sit on my bedroom floor for hours, thinking of a melody that would go perfectly with my lyrics."

A knowing smile spread on Jimin's lips, "A melody that would tell the story of the songs as well as the lyrics do."

"Exactly. It's always the more difficult part for me because I write the lyrics, first."

Jimin hummed, "I write the melody first."

Rosé's eyes widened, "really?". Jimin nods. "How do you do that? I have tried to do it so many times, it's just not my thing, I guess."

Jimin chuckles, "It's not a skill Rosé, that's just what you are comfortable with. I personally like to make a melody that acquaints the mood of the song and then write the lyrics accordingly. You are more of a songwriter, Rosé" He paused, "I really admire that."

Chae blushed, "Really?"

Jimin hummed, "Yeah, I have watched 'the making of a song' on your youtube. The way you write songs really fascinates me."

Chae wiggles her eyebrows, "Woah! The great, cold Jimin who is not interested in anything, but his art watches my youtube channel!"

It was Jimin's turn to blush, he cleared his throat, "You are both my colleague and my competitor. I like to keep both in check."

Rosé rolled her eyes, "Sure."

"We are here." Jimin said after silence for a few moments, "You can get off here, I will follow you once I park the car."

"Okay."

Rosé got off. The country house was more like a country palace. It was away from the city, in the middle of nowhere. It made sense with Jimin being such a huge star, this was definitely a place he would visit to destress. 

Rosé inhaled the fresh air, "This is a great change."

"It is. Isn't it?" Jimin walks towards her, "This was the first thing I bought for my parents after becoming an idol."

"Woah! Really?!"

Jimin smiled, "Not the whole thing, I bought this land first and built a smaller house, and then eventually expanded it."

"That's amazing Jimin." Rosé walked in front of him but Jimin stopped her by lightly grabbing her elbow.

"Rosé." He paused before continuing, "I am sorry for this chaos, you know, the whole fake dating thing. It's just my grandma is really conservative and now, looking in hindsight my mother could've said that we were just friends but I am sure she had a reason. But- "

"Jimin." Chae interrupted him, "It's okay. And the great thing is I am having g so much fun! I love your family, I got to eat the absolutely scrumptious food that I made and I get to spend a whole day in this castle of yours."

Jimin lets out a laugh, "Alright then, if I tell you that we have a bowling alley in the basement will you be even more excited?"

Rosé let out a gasp, "Don't play with Jimin."

Jimin's lips crooked upwards, "I am not, actually."

"Woahhh what are we waiting for then? Letsgoooo" Rosé ran towards the house.

Well I guess universities in STEM aren't as easy as I thought it would be. Anyways, I managed to write a shorter chapter this time. Hope you like it!
