Five and Delores sat in the front of the van as I tried to catch up on some sleep in the back.

"You know, you don't have to tell me that. I know there are only six days left." Five answered his girlfriends before glancing back at another certain girl he had his mind on.

"Oh get your head out of the gutter Dee. I don't like her, what happened earlier was simply an accident." He said and I sighed. My back was facing him and I felt tears form in my eyes. Why? That I have no idea.

"Yeah, you got a better idea? Okay, then." Five said again answering her. I yawned signaling that I was awake and five coughed to act like he wasn't just talking about me.

"Morning skin tag." He said and I rolled my eyes. He picked up Delores and placed her in the back whiles I climbed up to the passenger seat.

"Doesn't seem like morning to me." I said looking up at the dark sky and he sighed.

"About earlier, y/n. I'm sorry, I never should have done that to you." He said and I looked at him.

"I understand, you have a girlfriend. And I hate your guts but, it is what it is." I said and he nodded his head.

"Yeah, I mean. Delores was the only person there for me." He told me and I nodded before placing my hand on his.

"Trust me. She's amazing." I said and he smiled lightly which I returned. The tension broke as we both looked back at the door. As my eyes reached the entrance we saw a shady looking Lance walk out of the building

"That's out guy." Five said and I nodded. He stopped, looking around for something before a car approached him and he spoke to the owner .

"What the hell is he up to?" Five asked and I sighed as I looked between five and Lance.

"You jealous?" I joked and five rolled his eyes as I chuckled slightly at my joke. Lance handed a briefcase to the driver and then he drove off. The doctor slowly walked away, like nothing had happened.
Five grabbed my hand and jumped us away. We followed slowly behind Lance as he crossed the street. Five then teleported us into an empty apartment that was across the street from Lances apartment.

"I saw his schedule, he should be taking his dog for a walk in the morning." He said and I nodded as I walked away from where we landed and looked around the apartment.

"This is a nice place." I said and he scoffed as he looked around at the small house.

"Yeah, this person cannot decorate though." He said and I laughed turning around to realise he was standing directly behind me

"Jesus Mcfly. You scared the shit out of me." I said holding my heart and breathing rapidly. His face was blank and he held his own hand nervously behind his back.

"What's wrong with you? Did you see a—" just then his lips were on mine. This kiss was my first in a while. Since Jay I think. It was different, it wasn't one sided or lonely. It felt warm and safe and new and crazy and wrong and right all at the same time. His arms held my waist as mine fell to his chest. My eyebrows were raised in shock. Wait! Does this mean he broke up with Delores whiles I was sleeping? Is that why he left her in the van?
We broke away to catch air, not that It helped. My breath was taken away at the sight of five, MY five, kissing me. He looked, happy, at peace even. I leaned in and kissed him again as he smiled into the kiss. He made me feel whole. The money and Jay and fame and drink, it never made me feel fuzzy and warm and loved like five did. Maybe that's why I've tolerated him for the past couple of days, or why he tolerated me. We broke apart again as I held his face in my hands. This time he didn't smile. He more glared at me with confusion on his face.
