I faded away way before
I emerged into this world.
There is a reason why
I feel this growing void.
Why do leaves on trees
never rustle when I walk below?
Do they know I don't belong?
Maybe I'm just postponing my time to go.
Just to feel them grow,
hoping they can end my woe.
