You were so. So. SO. Excited.

You were going to see your favourite band, All Time Low, in concert. This was your first time of seeing them live, and you couldn't have been any more exhilarated.

You were going with your friend, who also loved them, and you had both been majorly fangirling for weeks and weeks and weeks. Some of your other friends had gotten completely sick of it, but you didn't care. After all, you were going to see All Time Low!!

And this was the day. This was the day that you would drive up to Birmingham together to see them, to see some of the best musicians of the century, and you even got up early, because you couldn't stay still for too long.

You sent millions of texts to your friend, which mostly said the same sorts of things:

OMG IT'S TONIGHT

I can't wait I'm so excited!!

Alex Gaskarth get ready, because an over excited fangirl will soon be in your presence.

TONIGHT!!!!!!

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT, IT'S TONIGHT!!!!!!

All Time Low are so amaaazzziinnnggg

And so on and so forth. Your friend sent some back, and you sent loads more, and it went on like that.

You didn't have work today, so you spent all your time making sure everything was absolutely perfect for when your friend got off work and you would drive to the arena.

Only one thing distracted you from thinking about the concert. All Time Low had also been one of Luke's favourite bands. It was, in fact, what had brought you together.

You had both gone to the same school, and you had were both taking GCSE Music. In that one class, everyone had to talk about a favourite artist, why they liked them, and then perform one of their songs. You'd obviously chosen ATL (writing it out takes too long ok), and you had to talk first. You had been so nervous. However, it was okay once you were up there. You got into the flow of things, and you could've gone on for ages, but your teacher stopped you. You blushed a little before launching into a cover of 'Dear Maria, Count Me In' which went better than you'd ever played it. You noticed this boy watching you from across the classroom, and blushed under his gaze. He was very good-looking. At the end of the class, he came over, and you started chatting about ATL. It all went uphill from there.

Thinking about Luke now didn't make you so sad as after he'd told you he'd cheated on you, obviously, but a small, sharp pang still registered in your heart. It had ended on such bad terms, your relationship.

You'd met other people since Luke, of course, but he always seemed to be there, at the back of your mind, always at the bottom of every thought chain, and could be traced back to everything you did. You had loved the others, but Luke...you had loved him with a different kind of love.

You didn't love him anymore, obviously. But you still thought about him. Still wondered where he was, what he was doing, and who he was doing it with. But you'd deleted his number ages ago. And it would be weird to get in touch now. You were exes, after all, not old friends.

You erased all thoughts of Luke from your mind, and went to get some breakfast.

A couple of hours later, you heard the doorbell ring, and got up to answer it. It was your friend.

"Hey, Y/F/N! I thought you didn't get off until later?" You said, standing aside to let them in.

"I managed to get off earlier, because it wasn't very busy and they knew it was going to be tight. My boss is nice, y'know." Your friend walked inside and you made a coffee for both of you. You had to leave for the concert in about ninety minutes, so you had to get changed and do everything else before that. You were so excited that your hands were shaking. You could hardly make the coffee.
