Music blasted as soon as Jack, Dave and Dee entered the building. The place was illuminated but neon purple lights and the carpet was a navy blue with confetti printed on it.

"Thanks for paying for us Dave" Jack said and Dave smiled.

"No problem sportsey! I thought since Peter was gone we could have some fun" Dave said as the three walked up to the counter.

"Welcome to hurricane roller rink, may I have your shoe sizes?" A lady asked. She had medium brown hair and she was wearing a black and neon rainbow checkered jumper. Her name tag read Goose and she had a Pansexual and Asexual pins. (Yeah that's me btw)

"Size eight and... Jack what's your and Dee's shoe size?" Dave whispered.

"Seven, Dee is three" Jack whispered back.

"Size seven and size three, please" Dave continued. Goose grabbed three pairs of roller skates and put them on the counter.

"Ok, for two adults and one child is twenty five bucks" She said with her Australian accent. Dave pulled out his wallet and gave the lady twenty six dollars.

"Keep the change" Dave said and grabbed the shoes. The three made their way to the actual rink and sat down on one of the metal benches.

"Do you know how to skate?" Jack asked and gave Dee her roller skates.

"I know how to skate using a stake board" Dave replied.

"No I mean with roller stakes" Jack corrected.

"No...but I'm sure it'll be easy" Dave said confidently. The two men put on their skates.

"Jack can you tie my shoe laces?" Dee asked, Jack nodded and got on one knee in front of her.

"Look Dee, this is the tree" Jack said making a loop with her shoe laces. "The rabbit goes around the tree and into the hole, then you pull it tight and voila!" Jack said and tied a bow.

"Now you try" He suggested.

"This is the tree, the rabbit goes around the tree and....uhm" Dee got confused and let go of the rope, letting the laces dangle to the ground.

"Hey it's ok, you just need a little more practice" Jack chuckled and quickly tied the laces of her other shoe. Dee got up and immediately and started moving slowly.

"Woah" She said, Dee had never experienced anything like this before.

"That's just the carpet, wait until you get onto the polished wood" Dave said and rolled towards the entrance. Once he entered the ring he started rolling away. He quickly tired to rolled back towards the railing. Jack entered holding his sister's hand and almost fell over.

"Oh sh...shoot" Jack said catching himself on the railing and from swearing.

"Hold on the the railing and once you start getting the hang of it you can let go" Dave explained, like he knew what he was doing he wasn't. The two Kennedy's followed his instructions and Dee started gaining more confidence. She let go of the railing and started rolling into the middle of the ring.
