Hey, y'all, I haven't updated in a while and I'm sorry. I lost track of time and I had a huge writer's block. There are only so many things you can do with smut. But we're almost at 60,000 readers, yay! Thanks a lot. It means so much to me that this book is getting recognition. I couldn't have done it without you guys. This is a unique concept that I have done, and one of the only Barry Allen harems that I've seen on this platform. Of course, you're welcome to prove me wrong.

As the years of torment take a toll on Barry, he seeks help from Bruce in order to preserve his mental health. Barry decides to take a sabbatical to Gotham and spend a few weeks there in order to attempt to cure his rapidly declining mental health. He makes a few acquaintances along the line. 

ACT 1: MEETING KATE KANE

SYNOPSIS: After finding out that Bruce would take a couple of days to return from his mission, Barry gets to know Kara's occasional partner better. Kate has never been with a man before, she has heard rumors from many sources that Barry is in an open-ended marriage and would occasionally hook up with almost anyone. Kate decides that this would be her way of exploring what it would be like to hook up with a guy, and what better than hooking up with Central City's finest superhero?

Barry tucked his hands into his coat as he made his way down the gravel driveway to Wayne Manor. Ace as always came charging out of nowhere, Barry let himself be almost tackled to the ground by the dog, just to entertain him. He petted the hound and pried him off, he smiled down at the dog and pulled out a bone.

"Don't worry, Ace, I didn't forget your gift."

Ace barked with excitement. Barry tossed the bone across the lawn and Ace bolted after it. Barry took the opportunity and phased into the door of the manor. He walked through the halls until he reached the library.

Suddenly, images flashed in his mind, the entire world vaporizing in a red glow. A towering figure with glowing eyes looked down below him, and then he felt the pain in his chest as the figure punctured his chest with a piece of rebar. Barry snapped out of it when he heard footsteps enter the library. 

"Barry?"

"Hey, Kate, it's been a while."

"Yeah, too long."

Barry turned around and smiled shyly at Kate. She stood with her hands on her hips, her face was unreadable to the untrained eye. But Barry knew Kate already, he knew she was glad to see him.

"How's Kara?"

Barry chuckled low in his throat, smiling widely at Kate. 

"She misses you. Very, very much."

"We were the dream team, the world's finest, of course, she'd miss me," Kate coyly answered. She ran a gloved hand along the mahogany table in the library. 

"You just got back from patrol I assumed."

"Yeah, Gotham's been a little busy because Bruce is on that mission in Brazil, something about tracking down Bane."

"Brazil huh, sounds exotic."

Kate pulled off her cowl and set it on the table, she smoothed out her short-cut hair. She pulled off her gloves too and tossed them to the side.
