Jesse and Barry

Hey guys! I come to you with another banger of a chapter! Let's do this! Jesse Quick and Barry Allen, LET'S GO!

Barry and Harry were at STAR Labs, Barry was talking with him until a breach opened in the middle of the lab. Jesse sped out of the portal, Barry turned and smiled at the gorgeous female speedster, Jesse couldn't help but smile back. Harry walked up to her and hugged her.

"How's my little girl?" He asked excitedly, Jesse flushed in embarrassment.

"Dad, I'm almost 20, I'm not your little girl anymore."

"I know, I know, but what are you doing here?"

"I came to inform you guys that I'll be staying, Earth-13 doesn't need a speedster anymore, they have a new one."

"That's wonderful," Harry said, little did he know that this was a big mistake letting Jesse stay on Earth-69. Jesse took off her mask and walked up to Barry, she touched his arm, feeling his biceps.

"Been working out Mr. Allen?" Barry smirked.

"A lot more than usual, I have to keep myself in shape." Jesse noticed that Barry was very handsome, for some reason she didn't notice it before. Harry raised an eyebrow at Barry as Barry shrugged, Harry dangerously glared at Barry and walked off, leaving both Jesse and Barry alone in the lab.

"So tell me Flash, what have you been doing lately?" Jesse got closer to Barry, their faces were inches away from each other, Barry smirked.

"Nothing much, what about you?"

"I was thinking of taking more lessons from you on how to be a better speedster, you are the master after all."

"Just like old times, you ready for a race Jesse Quick?"

Jesse chuckled.

"You got it, Scarlet King." Barry smiled and sped into his suit, he sped around the city, with Jesse trailing behind him. Soon she caught up with Barry, both of them were running at the same pace. 

Barry stopped at the waterfront, a few trees were present and Barry could see the beach. Jesse stopped too. Barry pressed a button on his suit, it dematerialized into his normal clothes, the only sign of the suit were the bright red boots. Jesse pressed a button on her suit too, it also dematerialized. She pulled off her mask. Barry sat down cross-legged, Jesse sat across from him.

"So tell me, what is it that you desire to learn, Jesse?" Barry asked softly, Jesse looked down.

"I want to get faster, lately I've had trouble managing my speed, and I still can't do lightning constructs like you or Wally."

"I see, you desire to be faster?"

"Yes," Jesse simply said, her jade eyes meeting his soft hazel ones. 

"I want to show you something, it's gonna be cool."

"Okay." 

Barry closed his eyes, he felt the speed force in his system, the electricity around him, the rocks that were on the ground lifted up into the air, electric currents were propelling the little rocks around him, Barry stuck out his hand and formed a flower construct and gave it to Jesse. Jesse gasped and took the flower, she could sense the electricity coming off of it, Barry stopped and the rocks fell to the ground softly, the rose also faded.

"I- I don't believe it."

"That's why you can't do it, Jesse you have to believe that the lightning chose us," Barry told her, she nodded.
