A Taste of Smallville

In which Barry visits the iconic universe of Smallville. He leaves Kara Kent behind with a salty taste in her mouth and a few marks to remember him.

Barry once again began to rethink his decision to consider Earth-travelling. He did it unintentionally as always, whether it's going fat enough to break the barrier between Earths or he was accidentally sent by Harry and Cisco whenever they prank him. He was solo this time, which was great because he needed some time away from everything, and what great a time to take the opportunity to explore this Earth and have a little fun.

He landed on his feet in a forest just outside a small town. Barry sighed as he deactivated his cowl, he knew exactly where this was.

"Ah, good old Smallville," Barry muttered.

Barry walked through the forest to end up on the main road, he sped down the road until he found what he was looking for. He skidded to a halt in front of a field of corn. 

"Here it is, the Kent residence, it looks smaller than I expected," Barry said to himself as he set foot on the dirt path leading to the house. 

"Who are you? And why are you on my property?" The voice of a young man asked Barry.

"I'm just looking for a place to stay the night, you know, traveling Earths drains your stamina, and I'm also hungry," Barry said into the air. 

Barry felt a gust of wind behind him and turned around to see Clark, but it wasn't the man he knew, it was just a way younger version of him.

"Hey, Clark."

"How do you know my name?"

"Well, I know a lot about you, I'm Barry Allen, I come from another Earth," Barry told him. 

Clark looked at him, Barry was still in his suit maybe that was why Clark looked skeptical. 

"I assure you I mean you no harm."

"Barry Allen... as in a relative to Bart Allen?" Clark asked.

"You can say that, yeah," Barry told him.

"Alright, come with me, but no funny business," Clark said.

"Sounds good to me."

Barry followed Clark into his home, they both sat on the couch. Clark started to ask Barry questions about where he came from, Barry answered them patiently. What he wanted was to lie down because he was tired.

"Alright, I guess you can stay a few nights until you have enough energy to get back to your Earth," Clark told Barry. 

"I only need to stay one night, but I can help you out with the farm, it's the best I can do to repay you for your hospitality."

"Oh no, you don't have to do that Barry. Here on the Kent Farm, we try to give what we can without asking for anything in return."

"Damn, there's that humbleness, when will I meet a version of you that accepts help," Barry complained, Clark chuckled.

"I don't know, I think if I met myself, I expect him to always be humble and be grateful," Clark said.

"Alright, I'll let you stay a couple of nights as you said, and you can help me out in the cornfields if you'd like, but I have to warn you that my life right now is a little..." Clark trailed off as he looked away from Barry, his eyes widened.
