[Annika - A, Shivaay - S, Gauri - G, Rudra - Ru]

Om and Gauri reached the showroom first and waited outside. Soon Annika arrived and parked her scooty.

Om got a text from Shivaay

Om: Guys Shivaay's car has broken down. He's stuck about 2kms from here. He says he'll be here as soon as possible and we should start looking at rings until he comes

A: ok

The three of them entered the showroom.

Om asked the manager to show the rings to the girls first but Annika kept looking at her watch instead of the rings

A: Om, Gauri, you both get your rings first, I'll be back in a few minutes

S: How much longer will your mechanic take to come over?

Driver: Sir he's on his way, just 2 more minutes

S: this is the second time this car has broken down this month. Send it for servicing tomorrow

Shivaay was engrossed in his phone when a scooty came and stopped next to him. Annika got down from the scooty and retrieved another helmet from under the seat. She forwarded it to him

A: come let's go

S: Annika you didn't need to come

A: I know, but I'm here now. Let's go

S: On this?

A: Yes. What Shivaay Singh Oberoi won't sit on a scooty? Is that it? Are you afraid or is it your tadi?

S: Neither. Let's go

Shivaay wanted to say something, he wanted to give a nice comeback but he couldn't think of anything, especially when she came here just to pick him up. He was touched by this gesture.

He sat behind her and within 5 minutes they reached the showroom. The two of them walked in together. Om and Gauri exchanged a smile seeing them together.

Om and Gauri selected their rings and now it was Annika's turn. She looked at Shivaay

A: Whichever you like

S: Okay

Shivaay rejected a bunch of rings and finally selected a diamond ring for her that was medium in size, something that she could wear every day and wouldn't get stuck anywhere while she was working. He showed it to her and judging her smile, he knew he chose the right one. He understood her choice

He then selected a complimenting ring for himself.

The next day all of them were at Oberoi mansion trying dresses brought in by the designer. The engagement was going to be an extremely small affair with just family so they didn't have any special requirements, any good-looking clothes would do. Gauri tried on a bunch of lehengas and finally selected one. Then she helped Om. Annika came outside after wearing the first lehenga. She wanted to get Gauri's opinion but she wasn't there. She had gone to show her dress to Jhanvi.

Shivaay looked up from his phone when Annika came out of the changing area. She perched up her eyebrows as if to ask him "Is this okay?".

Shivaay made up a face and nodded No. She picked up another one and changed. She came out again
