[Annika - A, Shivaay - S, Gauri - G]

Their game of 21 questions turned into a hundred questions. Once they started talking, they couldn't stop. Whatever time they got, didn't seem enough. They began calling each other throughout the day.

One day Annika was getting decorations done for an event when Shivaay called her. Her lips automatically formed a smile

S: Busy?

A: I can manage. Are you done with your meetings?

S: Yes, just had a meeting with the Japanese clients. It's going to be very profitable once I crack this deal. We'll have another meeting tomorrow to discuss terms

A: seems like a big day for you.

Annika gave some instructions to the workers

S: It is. What are you doing right now?

A: Getting lights set up for a party. Have you decided what you want to ask for your turn?

S: yes I have. Tell me something that you have always wanted to do for yourself

A: that's a tough one. I'll have to think about it

S: take your time. In the meanwhile tell me something else. Are you free this weekend?

A: I'll be busy on Saturday, because of this party. But I'm free on Sunday

S: Okay, some of my friends have invited us for brunch. Will you come?

She wanted to know if this invite was out of obligation or out of choice

A: do you want me to come?

S: Yes

A: Okay, then I'll come (she said gleefully). Acha I'll call you back later, these guys are messing up the design.

They continued their conversation later that night. It had been a few weeks since Shivaay started giving Annika driving lessons but more than that they were getting lessons about each other. They were getting to know each other and the best part was they liked each other's company.

The next morning Annika skipped breakfast and left for work. Today they didn't call each other because of Shivaay's super important meeting.

At lunchtime, Annika came to drop Sahil off and served him lunch

Pinky: Annika, where are you going? Have lunch with us

A: mom I'll eat later, I'm really getting late

Pinky: beta why are you always in such a rush? And when you are working somewhere far, tell us. We can pick Sahil up from the bus stop or the driver can get him directly from the school. Don't exert yourself so much

She went closer and held Pinky's hand.

A: It's not a problem mom, and if someday I feel I can't manage, I'll tell you

Pinky: promise?

A: yes mom, promise

Shivaay was still busy with his meeting though Rudra, Tej, and Shakti returned. Everyone was assembled at the dinner table

Daadi: where's Shivaay?

Shakti: maa he's in a meeting, he'll be back soon
