Jungkook was checking today's meeting material. You were in front of him. Arranging the file he asked earlier. You could do that on your own table but he called you in to review some presentation.You were smart and hardworking, moreover you were attentive. Everyone could be smart. Everyone could be hardworking. But to be attentive to the job. It took talents.
"You have something to tell me?" Because he noticed that everytime he stopped talking your mouth was opening as if you wanted to say something but you did not. It was funny to him so he let you be for a while before confronting you. Jungkook shifted his eyes to see you.
"Mr Jeon, i've something to discuss with you.." You cleared your throat.
"Hmm, what is it?" He lowered his head to read the material again.
"Actually, I received a job offer somewhere else." Now he was looking at you again. Thinking he misheard things.
"Who? Does the person know you are working in the Kim group." Kim group was generous with the payment, they were loyal to their employee so who dares to top that offer?
Could you tell him that it was from the Min family?
"I already told them.."
"No." He rejected you without second thought.Your knees were weak. Scared of him.
Mr Kim called him in the afternoon.
He just got a call from Mrs Min. They talked about some business deal and she was also mentioning you in the call. Asking how your work and things are.Well, Mr Kim had no impression of you because he did not work directly with you.
Jeon Jungkook never praised you in front of him nor said bad things. But he never complains. So it must not be that bad.
"Yes, Uncle?" Mr Kim was his uncle. Jungkook's dad sent him to learn how to work for his company. The boy did not let him down.
"Your assistant, Han Y/n. Let her quit."
Jungkook frowned, "And why is that?"
"My friend wants to take her to their group. How is h-"
"No." Jungkook declined the idea as he did to you. The group who wants to take you must be someone from their circle as well or else why would Mr Kim call him personally to ask this.
"I will ask the Human Resources Department to send you another one." He coaxed his nephew. Jungkook had many assistants before. No one sticks for long.
"I'm not going to teach another assistant. I'm busy, I'm not training her so she can run whenever she wants." How busy he could be, Mr Kim was CEO, he was the secretary?
"Listen to your uncle, let that little girl quit, okay." Jungkook could be so stubborn.
