Yerin had been tailing you secretly in the past few days. You were aware of this but you ignored her. What's this rich girl up to now?

After you finished with Moa's papers, she mocked you in front of her friends. Saying that you were asking her for money to write her essay and all embarrassing things you couldn't even think of. Turned out, money could buy facts too.

"Y/n.." She finally called you out, blocking your way to the library.

"What is it? You better stop following me. Don't cause me any trouble." Yerin was the least vocal in the Moa gang. She was the most quiet of all. You really didn't want anything to do with them anymore. Lesson learnt. Hardly. She handed you a paper bag with a famous brand logo printed on it, "What is this?" You had no intention to take it.

"... it's sneakers." She said shyly.

"And?" Why would she hand them to you? Did she need it to be cleaned or something?

"It's for you.."

"Did you donate them for me?" You asked. For you, you laughed at yourself.

"No, it's new I bought them for you. They are nice and cute. It must be uncomfortable to walk around.. with..-"

"With what? My ugly shoes which have holes in them?" You were a coward in front of people who looked weaker than you, you dare to speak loudly. You were just like them who bullied you..

"It have holes?" Yerin was surprised.

It did look bad, but it turned out it was even worse than she thought.

"Yes it is. Funny, isn't it. I don't need them."

"Take it.. it's really for you." She went to the shopping centre and thought of you...

"Do I look like I need your pity?" You barked.

"I.. I don't mean it that way.." She thought you would be happy and then the two of you could be friends. She never sees you talk to anyone in college. She didn't like how Moa treated you too, you didn't smell at all.Your clothes were a bit worn out but they smell like flowers, probably the softener you used.

"Weren't you and your friends making fun of me last time?"

"It's not me.." Well, she didn't stop them either, "I just want to give you these, why can't you accept them." She didn't expect you to be so bitter. She was raised where everyone talked nice and sweet to her.

"Because I don't need your pity. You could give it to anyone who needs a charity." Please stay away." You excused yourself. Yerin was teary. She watched you leave in vain. She was trying to be nice but why can't you accept. In the end she came home in bitter heart.

"Yoongi-ah.. why didn't Yerin pick up my calls?" Moa showed her phone to Yoongi.
"Hm? How could I know?" Yoongi was sitting on the couch while Taehyung and Hobi played billiards. Moa was clutching to him.

"Is she angry at me? She really didn't tell you anything?""No." Moa pouted, acting as an obedient girl in front of Yoongi. She had been treating Yerin nicely since she likes Yoongi so much, but her effort hadn't shown any result yet. Yoongi did let her come to play if he hang out with his friendsThat's all so far.

"Can you ask her why? She had been talking to that poor girl lately." One of her gang saw Yerin trying to give something to Y/n and she didn't like the interaction between them."Poor girl?"

"That girl, you know the one who got in through a scholarship." She glanced at Hoseok as she said so, she disliked him too, she didn't know why Yoongi would be friends with him, they weren't from the same level, "I'm afraid she will use Yerin. She even asked for money from me. She is so despicable.."

Yoongi remembered you, the one who can't even speak for herself. How could a quiet girl like that be despicable? Looking at Yoongi's expressions Moa quickly added, "I'm just worried about Yerin. Nothing else.."

Yoongi knocked on his sister's bedroom door.He was too lazy to apply in college the year earlier. Now Yerin entered college, he leisurely did the same. They were the pair of heirs and heiresses from the Min family. Their dad was CEO of Min company and also a professor in their university. He was teaching for fun. Catching up with young people these days.

"Who is it?" Yerin was still in a bad mood.

"It's me.."

Yoongi was rather quiet, but she looked up to him because he was older, "Brother.."

"What's with you and Moa?"

"She complained to you?" She pouted.

"She asked if you are okay."

"Tell her I'm okay, then." Yoongi held the door you were about to close. This girl gave him an attitude and he didn't like it.

"Am i look like your messenger?"

"Tch.. brother..." She whined.

"What's with you and your new friend?" As a big brother it was his responsibility to protect his sister. Especially when she was too naive.

"New friend?" Moa was like a two faced person, she was nice to her but very rude to the others. She knew Moa likes his brother.. or else she probably treated her badly too, "Do you mean Y/n?" She thought.

"Did she ask for money from you?" "Did she threaten you with something?"

"What? No.. not at all!"

"I will know if you lie." Yoongi gave her a certain look. There was no point hiding something from him. Her brother was smarter than anyone she knows.

"I wanna be friends with her. I bought her shoes, but she rejected me.. I'm so sad..She said I'm insulting her..."

"Well, did you?" He frowned, this girl didn't know her limit sometimes. Why would she buy you shoes out of nowhere?

"I meant well.."

"You might make her uncomfortable."

"I just want to be friends. She doesn't have any friends and..-" She almost said Moa always makes fun of you, she didn't want to expose her to Yoongi yet.. but she didn't want Yoongi to date Moa either, "Did Moa say all of this?" She dislikes her even more now.

"She worried you might be used by that girl."

Well, she did use me to get close to you. Now she could hang out with you, she rarely called me.

"I'm really not.."

"Alright." Yoongi let her rest.

The paper bag was still in her room. She was thinking who could give it too.She was trying to be nice. The shoes were innocent. Why couldn't you happily accept them? Didn't anyone like gifts?
