Jungkook passed your table. Your computer was still on. There was no single assistant accompanying you. He frowned.
"Why didn't you go back yet?"
"Oh, I'll check this report a bit." There was no work left. You were working on the upcoming project. He noticed you had been weird. Not on the surface but he had been working with you since you were a little girl.
"How have you been with Yoongi?"
"Great." You unconsciously smile when he mentioned Yoongi's name. By this time, you and Jungkook were very close. He was not only a boss but also a friend who know you for years. The two of you were spending time together more than with your partner.
"You are staying in the hotel. It can't be great." Nothing could miss his sharp eyes.
Jungkook sat on your table, "What's wrong? You could tell me.."
"Yoongi is upset. I don't know.." It had been days. You missed him...
"Is it about the house?"
"Yes.."
"Why did he get upset? Did he tell you the reason?"
"I'm not sure, there was a lot to process at the same time. I.. I think.. I can't make him happy.. " That's what you concluded. You were many things but not great lover. As painful as it was, you did not want to break up with him. He is your Yoongi. You're the only one. How ironic it was when you can't even remember your anniversary.
"He is already happy being with you, Y/n. Or else why would he stick around for this long?" Jungkook watched the light on your eyes dimmed. He was probably right, "To be honest he has been very patient with you and supports your dreams. He loves you dearly." Jungkook patted your head, "Don't let him go. I'm not sure how a workaholic woman like you could find another date if you messed up this one." Didn't he know you well? He praised your work ethic but you had zero clue about your love life. He wondered why.
"I will think about it.."
"You should go back, it's late. Talk to Yoongi, I'm sure he will listen." He advised.
"Thank you.."
"I almost forgot to tell you the house was already sold. My friend called." Too bad.
"Oh, it's okay. It's out of my budget anyway."
You know Jungkook wouldn't mind if you lend some money, "But.. Could you make some call for me? I have a favor. Please?"
"Sure."
"Can I take the day off tomorrow?"
