ACTIVATE YOUR POTENTIALS

Potentials are qualities and talent that when developed can lead to success.

As human beings we were created with gifts.
Everyone has a talent,a potential that is deep within us and until we discover them then we will not fulfill our purpose on earth.
Everyone was born with a talent,God has placed inherent capacities and abilities in us and sometimes we find ourselves just doing something over and over again without knowing that that is a gift from God.
A lot of teenagers are not aware of the natural gifts,talents and abilities that are deposited in them.
Most teenagers admire others when they see them performing but they tend to forget that they have hidden gifts within them that can make them excel more than the people they are admiring.
Teenagers are afraid of standing up and following their talents while others are ignorant of the gifts and talents within them.
God is not partial,he loves everyone equally and he has given everyone natural gifts.
It can be Singing, dancing, cooking, writing,rapping, painting, helping others etc.
What matters the most is that you discover them, search for them,dig them out,build it,refine it, practice it and then use it for GOOD.
Take note of the capitalised word good.
Most times what matters is not the gifts or talent but how you use it.
Remember the parable Jesus told his disciples about a master and his servants,when the master was travelling he gave everyone of his servants and commanded them to put them to work and when he came back they brought it back to him multiplied except for one who buried his talents.
The parable has it that while the master commended the other servants he also rebuked the foolish servants and had him punished.(Matthew 25:14-30)
When we don't use our talents and gifts it will be taken from us.
Out talents often works or should I say go hand in hand with our passions.
Growing up I found out that I was fascinated with music,I love singing a lot and I also like listening to music also.
I joined a church band at an early age,I was good in backing up the lead singer although I wished to be one.
One thing i had was fear, I've always had this fear of failure.
This fear always made me not to try out things until I came to realise that I can never succeed without failing.
This made me never to mind how many times I made a mistake.
No matter how people laugh at you keep practising it and keep doing what you love.
Even if people keep laughing, mocking or ridiculing you just keep trying,learn and improve yourself more.

Build up your talent,you can learn new skills but never abandon your talents.
You never can tell where it will take you,you never know how far you will go with it.
I have made a decision that am going to build up my talents no matter the critics or scorns I receive!!

Ways to activate your potentials includes:
1.identify your values
2.identify your strength
3.identify your weakness and build it up.
4.keep practising and believing that you can do all things with God
5.have a role model you can look up to, someone that is good in something you also love.

Always remember that what you know makes you known and the way you use your gifts matters.
Please Use your potentials to Glorify God.
Don't be tempted to do otherwise.
