*Dedicated to Yssa, a friend of mine, and to all those going through one thing or the other.
We are in this together dear, it's gonna be okay*

We often face problems and we are sometimes left with the thought or feeling that we are hopeless.
Sometimes we feel that God does not see our tears, hear our cries or care about what we are feeling.
I'm sure as Christians, we've felt like this at one point and might probably be feeling this way right now.

You may feel like you don't have a Future.
You may feel like no one loves you.
You may think that no one will fight for you.
So many thoughts and feelings may arise and these feelings are not bad.
I don't know of you but I have had my share of this.
I struggle with some of these feelings and thoughts often but I don't let them linger for long.

I am going to point out ways to overcome and get through these feelings.

1- Tell God exactly how you feel:
You might say 'He knows' or he ought to know.
Yeah, you are right but still tell it to God(by 'tell' i mean pray).
You can say:
God, I don't know why am feeling this way. I feel like nobody loves me, I feel like I can't go on any longer.
Help me, Lord, help me.
I can't do this on my own, I'm tired.
Give me a sign that you are with me!
You can add whatever you feel you are going through.
He knows what you are feeling but telling him will make you feel better and it shows you trust him.
Trust me, God listens, he knows, and he cares.

2-Study the Bible and find out about God's promises.
The Bible is our guide and manual for living.
Everything we need for living is in it.
The Bible contains God's word and also the story of many people.
Whenever you feel hopeless, pick up your Bible and read about people who felt hopeless in the Bible and how they acted.
Job is a perfect example, you can also read the story of Joseph, the Israelites, es and many others.
Find out what God said to them during those times, apply the instructions, and live by the promises.
For example, When you worry about your future, you can pray and say:
Dear Lord, you said in your word, in the book of Jeremiah 29:11 that the thoughts you have for me are of good and not of evil to give me hope and a future. Thank you that my future is in your hands, help to put complete faith in you.
Amen!
I believe that would make you feel better.

3-Write them out and affirm them:
You've prayed, studied the word, and found out God's promises.
The next thing is that you write them out maybe in your journal or probably on a sticky note.
You also affirm it and declare it over your present predicament.
For example, if you are feeling tired and weak, you can affirm Isaiah 40:31- They that wait/hope on the lord will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, and they will walk and not faint.
Or
Matthew 11:28-Come to me, you who are weary and heavy ladened and I will give you rest.

Remember, There is power in our tongues, so declare positivity into your life.
Don't let the devil put you down, when he brings negative thoughts to your head, shut them down with the word of God.
