Who are you?
Who does think you are?
How do you define yourself?
How do you see yourself?
Whose voice do you listen to?
Do you define yourself based on the voice of those around you or based on the voice of your creator?
Do you know that what people say and what we listen to have a way of affecting our lives?
Psychology proves that to some extent we are what we listen to, and what we believe.
Most time we choose to believe what others say about us.
Words are powerful, in fact, one of the most powerful weapons in the world.
Words can either start or end a war.
How will you feel if someone tells you that you are so worthless, useless, and ugly?
Am sure you will feel so depressed, you will probably think about it for so many days and then the devil will start creeping thoughts into your mind, making you see that you are all that.
The devil never wants us to have peace, he is always looking for ways to make us confused and lose sight of who we are.
The devil knows that if you grab ght of who you are, you will work in it and he will be rendered powerless.
The devil might not speak to you personally but trust me he can use others to do that.
Some of these words might be:
-You are useless
-You are not needed
-God will never love a sinner like you
-Your sins can never be forgiven
-The world does not need people like you, just die already
-You are not beautiful
-You are out of the league and you don't fit in
-Nobody will ever love you
-You are going to die of this sickness
-You will never succeed
-You will die in poverty
These are a w any words devourers (devil) use that depresses people today.
One amazing fact is that the devil chooses a time when we are at our worst to tell us all this.
You can imagine how you feel when you are down and instead of your friend encouraging you, he or she brings up more depressing words.
I bet that will feel like adding insult to injury right?
That's exactly what the devil did to Job in the Bible, when Job lost all that he had, the devil spoke through his wife saying curse God and die
We have to be careful of what we listen to and what we feed our minds with.
God will never speak about his children negatively get that?
Never forget that YOU ARE WHO GOD SAY YOU ARE!!!
This is what he says you are:
You are loved
You are his
You are beautiful
You are healed
You are worthy
You are forgiven
You are important
You are unique
You were created for a purpose
You are the apple of his eyes
You are a chosen generation
You are a total priesthood
You are his image
You are chosen
You are cared for
YOU ARE WHO HE SAYS YOU ARE!
Speak it
Proclaim it
Declare it daily
Walk in it!!!
