Scott sat in a motel in a black tank top and black jeans. It's been a couple of days since he left Mystic Falls. Now he was in Colorado, in a motel near the woods, far from civilization.

He left the motel and entered the woods before passing a bear as it scratched its back on a tree. The bear chuffed before dropping to all fours and walking away, completely ignoring Scott.

Scott shifted into a wolf and ran off to hunt a deer.

He stayed a wolf for a long time. It made him feel calmer when he was a wolf. When it became evening, he returned to the back of the motel and entered his room to wash himself off.

He exited the shower with a new change of clothes on.

His acute sense of hearing picked up something outside. Before he could react, the door flung open, and he found Hope standing in the doorway. She was wearing a faded pair of blue jeans, brown leather boots that came up to knees, and a red flannel long-sleeve button up shirt.

"Hope?" He voiced. "What are you-" He started. "Don't talk." She interrupted before entering the room and planting her lips to his. Nothing else mattered, only that Hope was here.

Scott woke up in the bed of the motel. That was the tenth time he had that dream. About Hope.

Why? She sent me away. Why am I dreaming about her?

He didn't know. And to be honest, he didn't really care. It was nice to see her again.

"I miss you." Scott whispered before a blinding light filled the motel and all the windows shattered as a high-pitched ring pierced his eardrums.

His eyes rolled to the back of his head before he fell to the floor.

Hope sat in the Archive room with the others. She had just brought Landon back from his mother that had just been recently re-erased from existence.

She stared at the book on the table of Lycanthropy before seeing something in her mind. It was painful.

"Hope, are you okay?" Josie asked. She heard screaming. Someone was in pain. She saw flashes of lights flicker on a nearby wall.

"Light this monster up. He can take it. I know he can." A man voiced.

"Hope?" Landon sounded.

Hope looked at the others. "Give me a moment." She answered before walking away.

Her head hurt like crazy. The visions in her mind flashed as a silhouette was shown tied to a fence. She couldn't see anything recognizable just that they were shirtless and sweating.

"Where are they?!" A man shouted before jamming a baton into the prisoner. They screamed as an electric current ran up and down their body.

"Where?!" The man shouted. "I... I don't...know." The prisoner breathed.

"No." Hope whispered. She knew that whisper. She'd heard it dozens of times before. "Hey, Hope? Hope. Hope!" Josie called out lightly shaking her. Hope blinked her eyes a few times. "Scott." She muttered.

"What?" Josie asked furrowing her brows. "Scott." Hope restated. He was the prisoner. He was being tortured.

"What about him?" Lizzie asked. "He's in trouble." Hope said going to leave. "Hey, where are you going?" Josie inquired.

"To get Scott back." Hope answered.

"How? You don't even know where he is." Landon pointed out.

"She doesn't. But I do." A boy announced.
