Jorney's POV

You ever sit back and just think about everything that you have endured in your entire lifetime?

Think about all the pain that you've been through and all the memories that haunt your past?

That happens to me a lot. I catch myself failing in these trances that make me seriously depressed at times.

I was sitting down, when Tanner walked in and sat down next to me.

"I'm seriously losing my patience." He says.

I smirk at him. "Oh really?"

He sighs and shakes his head, "Aren't you?"

I shrug my shoulders. "It's like a nice little vacation If you ask me. I'm having the time of my life." I state sarcastically.

He glares at me. "Your sarcasm is not needed at the time Angel," he says.

I smile at him. "Whatever Tanner. You'll be fine. We only have four more days left here."

But he doesn't respond. Instead, he stares off into space. It's like he was here, but his mind was somewhere else.

"Tanner? You OK?" I ask.

He looks at me in confusion. "Huh?"

"I said are you ok?"

"Oh yeah Angel, I'm good."

But I knew that he was not good. But when the time was right, he'll tell me.

Or so I hope.

Carter's POV

"Wait, so you want MY help? Tanner that's really dangerous. It puts my life in jerpody."

"I know Carter and I understand if you don't want to do it but I really need your help here, I'm running out of options."

What Tanner was asking me to do was to go in a death trap with him. One that was risky and really life threatening.

"How come you asked me instead of Jorney?" I asked.

He sighs, "Jorney isn't exactly the best candidate for the situation."

I look at him. "What makes you say that?"

"I just don't know how... Uh suitable she would be."

I look at him surreptitiously. Did he know? Could Jorney had actually told Tanner?

"She told you didn't she?" I say.

He looks at me. "Told me what?" He says, trying to play it off.

"You know what I'm talking about," I say.

He sighs. "Yeah I do."

I look at him in shock. "I'm just in awe that she told you. Jorney doesn't open up to a lot of people. If she does it means that she trusts you."

He looks at me. "Well maybe she shouldn't."

I stare at Tanner in bewilderment and then sigh.

"OK I'll do it." I say.

"Really?" He asks.

"Yeah, but first I'm going to need more information."

"What type of information?" He ask.

"Like who the fuck is Emma."

And that ladies and gentlemen is the first time that I have ever seen Tanner Gold blush.
