Chapter 3: 4 Truths and 1 Lie

We walked all around the school, and might I add that it was very dark. Even with the emergency lights. We finally found them in the gym laying mats and blankets out on the floor.

"What are you guys doing?" I ask as we walk in.

Tanner looks up at me. "What does it look like we're doing Angel? We're preparing ourselves for bed."

"Bed? We have to sleep on the Floor? The gym floor?" I asked.

Tanner sighs. "Oh angel, just because I call you that doesn't mean you get to be treated like one."

I glared at him. "You're an ASSHOLE!"

"Correction. I'm a SEXY asshole."

"UGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I cry out as I pick up a mat and a blanket and move as far away as I can from Tanner. He's such an irresistible Jerk!

"Trying to get away from me Angel?"

"Yup." I said, popping the p.

Soon enough we were all settled in.

"Oooohhh, lets play 4 truths and a lie." Suggests Rose.

We form a circle and get ready to play. Rose by Cole, Chance by Carter, and of course I got stuck next to Tanner.

"Together again aren't we angel?" he questions, as he puts his hands around my waist. Shivers start to form in my body. Please don't let Tanner notice how nervous I am.

"Ok. Rose is first since she suggested we play in the first place." Says Carter

"Fine" she grunted. "OK. I LOVE TO READ, My Favorite color is purple, I love peas, I'm afraid that one day I'll break someone's heart, and I'm nice." We all chuckled at he last one.

"You're too nice if you ask me" says Cole. Rose then started to blush.

Wait, WHAT?

"The lie is that you love peas." Says Carter.

"Yeah, I think that's the lie too. Peas taste like shit." Says Chance. They really do. We all agreed that that was the lie because I know she hates peas.

"NOPE!" She yelled. "You guys are WRONG!!" WHAT?

"So what's the lie?" ask Carter. Before she could answer, I but in. Of course I knew what the lie was. DUH!!!

"You're not afraid that one day you will break someone's heart. You are really afraid that one day someone will break yours." I state while staring her in the eyes.

She then sighs. The room is dead quiet.

"Well DAMN Jorn. You didn't have to put her on blast," says Cole. I glare at him.

"No she's right. And that is why SHE is my best friend." I smile at her.

"Ok, whose next?" asked Carter, rudely interrupting me. What the hell was that all about?

"I'll go" says Tanner. "Ok. I'm hot, I'm gorgeous, I'm sexy, I have GREAT hair, and I'm not hot."

Is he fucking serious right now? You have got to be kidding me. Carter and Rose start laughing at him but I just shook my head at him.

"You do know that this game is called 4 truths and one lie, not 4 lies and one truth." I state sweetly.

He laughs. "Oh Angel, you're so cute when you're being funny." I rolled my eyes at him.
