Carter's POV

We've officially been here for 4 days and I already wanted to MURDER Chance. He is so arrogant.

I'm now sitting in the math class room, thinking about Ray. All of a sudden I see Chance walk in.

I sigh, "Go away Chance. I'm not in the mood."

He smiles at me. "That time of the month?" I glare at him before getting up. As I'm getting ready to leave, he grabs my hand.

"Kidding." I sigh. O f course he was.

"Carter, what's wrong?" He asked. I looked up to see that he actually looked concerned.

I sigh. "Why should I tell you? You'll probably just judge me."

He looks at me with so much seriousness in his eyes. "Well, did you kill someone?"

I gasp in surprise. "Hell no you idiot!"

He then shrugs his shoulders. "Then I won't judge you." I look at him for a long time, trying to decide what I was going to do. I finally decide its time to tell someone. He sits down next to me on the teacher's desk.

I put my head in my hands. He then puts his hand on my back and moves them in a circular motion.

"Oh Chance. I fucked up bad. Real Bad."

I told Chance everything. From top to bottom, not leaving a single thing out. The whole time he held my gaze, so much warmth in his eyes.

After I was done, we sat in a moment of silence, before he sighed. Was that a sigh of relief I heard?

"That wasn't so bad." He says, quietly.

I looked at him. 'What do you mean? I kissed one of my best-friends boy-friends and pinned it on Katty."

"Well yeah, that's bad. But not as bad at what I had in mind." He says. I smile at him.

"And what exactly did you have in mind?" I ask him, curiously.

"Oh you don't want to know Love." I laugh.

We sit in silence for a few more minutes before Chance says something that I knew was bound to come.

"You have to tell her Carter."

I look down at my hands and start to play with them. I gave him a loud sigh in response.

"She'll hate me forever," I whisper.

He nudges me with his shoulder in order to get me to look at him.

"She won't hate you forever. They just broke up a couple of months ago. But if you wait any longer than it just makes it worse. Better you tell her than some-one else." I sighed. I knew he was right.

"I'll be right there beside you the whole time." He smiles.

"Ooohh, maybe your beauty can distract her and let me off easy!" I say.

He laughs at me. "Oh Love, I taught you well." I was now laughing with him.

"Thanks Chance." I say.

"For?" He asks.

"Everything."
