Where's Eddie?

|Chrissys POV|

I can't sleep.

Eddie has been asleep for what seems like hours and I lay here tossing and turning

How can he sleep with all this going on?

My head is filled with questions about all the information I learned today

A secret world under hawnins?

This is all insane

I sighed and rolled onto my side and looked at Eddie

He was sleeping peacefully on his side with strands of his long brown hair covering his face

Would he be mad if I woke him up?

Oh well

I reached my hand out and poked his shoulder

No response

"Eddie" I whispered and poked his shoulder again

Still no response

"Eddie!" I whisper yelled and moved my hand up to his cheek and poked him

"Hmm" he groaned and swatted my hand away

"Eddie.. I can't sleep" I sighed

His eyes fluttered open but he didn't say anything

he studied my face for a moment before reaching for me, he pulled me close until my body pressed against his

"What-"

"Shh go to sleep" he interrupted me

He wrapped his left arm around my waist and tangled his left hand in my hair

I sighed and rested my head on his chest

"I'm scared" I whispered into his chest

There was a long pause before he replied

"I know.. I am too" he whispered and tightened his grip on me

|The next morning|

I awoke to loud banging on the front door

Me and Eddie both shoot up out of bed and looked a each other confused

"Open the door, Freak!" I heard Jason's angry voice yell

"Shit!" Eddie whispered

I froze and looked at Eddie

Lucas was right! Jason really is looking for Eddie

"The window! The window!" I whisper yelled to Eddie and pointed at the window

I'll stay and distract them so Eddie can run and hide..

He ran over to the window and pushed it open

He swung his legs around the window seal and held his hand out for me

"No I have to stay and distract them" I whispered

"What the fuck?? Come on, Chrissy!" He snapped and his voice creaked a little bit

"No, They'll see you when you go around to the front" I told him and ushered him out the window

He looked angry and confused but he swung himself out of the window

"Jesus H Christ!" I heard him hiss when his feet made contact with the ground

I poked my head out and watched him run along the back of the trailer
