"If you promise me the stars and fail to give me, you can leave and kiss me goodbye"

——

A smile laced on my face as I pinned my hair before giving myself a final look. I was dressed comfortably, in a black denim jeans and a white crop top. I was excited for mine and Damien's first date after giving ourselves a second chance with each other, I had kept my make up simple and neutral.

I exited my room only to crash into Katherine, she stared at me and then at my outfit.
"Are you going somewhere?" She asked, I was not comfortable in telling her about my date with Damien, knowing all too well that she still may be wanting Damien.

"Just out with Ariel." I lied, she nodded her head and smiled at me. I returned my fake smile towards her, before stepping aside and walking pass her. I walked down the stairs still feeling her hot gaze on the back on my head, it made me feel slightly uncomfortable.

I decided to go and let my father know I was going out, I walked inside the kitchen and as usual he sat on the seat behind the counter with a plate filled with creamy green pesto pasta and chicken.

Mother sat beside him, and smiled as I entered.

"You going somewhere, sweetie?" She asked as I stood in front of them. I smiled at her warmly and nodded my head at her.
"I am, I just wanted to let you know I'm heading out on a date with Damien. I may be late." I said, father placed his newspaper down and smiled at me nodding his head.

"Have fun, be careful and keep your phone on you." I nodded my head at his words before turning around and making my way towards the entrance, I knew Damien had already arrived. So when I exited the house to see his head light flashing at me I smiled widely.

I jogged towards his car before opening his passenger door and settling inside.

"So where are we going?" I asked him, he hummed in response as he reversed out of my parents drive way.
"Well I brought a new house, I wanted to check out the game rooms and thought maybe a little privacy with be good for us." I chuckled and nodded my head at him, he began to drive as me made small conversation and listened to music together.

When the car came to a stop, I realised the mansion in front of us was quiet modern to where he lived with his mother and sister who I had not met yet.
There was large windows, the walls were grey with the door being black. In the middle there was a beautiful fountain which flashed different lights every few minutes.

"Do you like it?" He asked, I turned towards him with a wide smile on my face.
"Of course, it's beautiful." I said as I exited the car, he walked around the car before intertwining our fingers.
"Come let me give you a tour." I nodded my head at him letting him walk me towards the front of the house, the mansion had no guards as no one lived there at the moment.

As we walked in I was met with a middle aged women cleaning the floor, she bowed her head at Damien before hurrying off. The walls of the inside was pale white, and sky blue. It was unusual than the normal mansions I had seen but I was totally in love with it.

"This is the living room." He pointed towards a room which had an arch way instead of a door, the wall held a grey wallpaper on one long wall the rest of the three walls were covered in grey paint. There in the middle was a white coffee table which had a rectangular glass, behind it was an 'L' white couch with a few photographs on the wall. I recognised one to be a younger version of Damien with an older version, he looked double the age of Damien so I assumed he was his dad.

"That's your dad." I said pointing to the picture on the wall, tilting my head to look at him.
"I was fifteen, we took that picture just before we headed out for our hunting trip." He said and nodded my head, he grabbed ahold of my hand leading me upstairs he briefly showed me the kitchen before we reached up stairs.

"On the left wing, that's where all the guest rooms around. Which is around eight. The right wing is where the master bedroom is and on the third floor is where the game rooms are." He said before we walked up to the third floor, we entered the first room which held a snooker table, we started with eight balls.

I pointed at my target before harshly pushing the stick forward watching as the white ball hit the coloured ball and it went into the hole. I jumped excitedly before sticking my tongue out to Damien who chuckled at my childish reaction.

He smoothly hit his stick forward and two balls went inside, my jaws dropped to the ground as I watched it go in the hole. Damien held a smirk on his face making me roll my eyes. In the end, Damien had won the game, we walked out and into the next door which happened to have a table tennis in the middle of the room.

Grabbing the ping pong ball, I bounced it before hitting it with the small bat. We continued to pass it to each other, Damien had been hitting the ball lazily as if he was confident he was going to win. I narrowed my eyes at him before roughly hitting the ball making him unable to hit the ball back and it bounced off the table.

Damien took the second round seriously but by the end I had won, I smirked throwing my hair back as I looked at him.

"Let's eat something." I nodded my head, rubbing my stomach.
