"A guilty person always attacks from the back."
——
My eyes landed on Kelsey, she stopped as she nearly bumped into me. My eyes travelled from the make up she had worn, to how neatly her hair was done and pinned back to the black denim jeans and crop top. She looked too dressed, making me wonder where she was going.
"Are you going somewhere?" I asked, putting up my best fake smile as I looked at her. She nodded her head at me returning my smile which did not reach her eyes.
"Just out with Ariel." I did not believe her words but I still kept my smile and nodded my head, she kept her smile on her face before stepping aside and walking around me. I continued to watch as she walked down the stairs, my gut told me she was lying.Listening to my instinct, I followed behind her until she entered the kitchen. I hid behind the wall as I listened.
"You going somewhere, sweetie?" I heard mothers cheery voice, I could see father and her sitting behind the counter from the reflection. Kelsey nodded her head at mother.
"I am, I just wanted to let you know I'm heading out on a date with Damien. I may be late."my anger fuelled as I listened to what Kelsey said, my palms clenched into a fist. That bitch. She had lied to me, I knew something was right. She had been out with Ariel before and never did she dress like that.
"Have fun, be careful and keep your phone on you." This time it was fathers words, i quick hid inside the shadows as Kelsey walked out of the kitchen. I watched silently as she walked out of the entrance door, I hurried towards the window parting the blinds allowing me to see outside and there they were. Damien was sitting in the car, whilst Kelsey entered the passenger seat I could see their mouth moving has they had an conversation.
With my jaws clenched I stepped away, I rushed up the stairs before mother or father could see me before closing the door of my bedroom behind me. I pulled my phone out calling Conner, I waited impatiently as the phone rang and on the sixth call when I assumed he would not answer he did.
"What." I heard him grunt, making me cringe wondering if he had a slut over with him. I shook in disgust before clearing my throat.
"If you found something better to do rather than fucking sluts I would not be doing all the jobs here." I gritted out angrily, I could hear him sigh before I heard his zipper go up. Their was whispers from the other line and then the door closing."What is it now?" He asked, making me roll my eyes at him.
"Did your source tell you that Damien and Kelsey have gone on a date." I stated, there was a pause on the other side before I heard him curse.
"So are you following them?" He asked now I rolled my eyes at him once again, it was as if he did not know what he was saying."Well I would not be calling you if I did. Track her phone number and send me her location." I stated, but it was more of a demand.
"I have sent you her location, but they seem to be going in the country side. Might want to catch up soon." He said before he disconnected the call, I glared at my green in hopes I could go inside the phone and strangle Connor myself.True to his words, a minute late my phone buzzed and Kelsey's location was now tracking on my phone. I smirked as I watched them driving.
I jumped startled hearing a knock on my bedroom door, I told the person to come in quickly hiding my phone in my side pocket.I smiled as my mother walked in.
"Do you need anything?" I asked her innocently, she smiled at me before shaking her head.
"Just wanted to ask if you have eaten your medication." She said and I nodded my head, she smiled at me before ready to leave when I called her name. She stopped turning around to look at me."I was thinking on going on a ride, I will be safe and back." I said mother looked conflicted, I knew she was terrified after the incident which happened in the past but she shook her head and nodded her head at me.
"Be safe." She said and I nodded my head at her. It was not long before I was in one of fathers cars, my seat belt was on as I froze following the location of Kelsey."Where the fuck are they going." I muttered to myself as I drove pass a dark road filled with trees, my car was the only one there. When I noticed the car that picked Kelsey up, I parked a far away switching the headlights off. I opened my door exiting the door. I frowned when I could not see them.
I stared from opposite the house, it was hours later that I saw them walking inside what seemed to be a kitchen. They both laughing and talking, Damien's arms around her waist as she took food out for both of them.
It angered me to just watch, this had been me, this still should have been me. It frustrated me that out of all the women in this world, my sister had to be his replacement. Now I had to kick my sister out of the way, don't get me wrong I do love her but I get what I want and I will get rid of anything that comes between what I want.
As I got up to leave my eyes fell on them for the final time but I froze to what I witnessed, Damien leaning forward and capturing Kelsey's lips with his. Her arms wrapped around his neck, whilst his arms wrapped around her waist pulling her closer.
