The Betrayed Wolves

Chapter 6

I slowly opened my eyes. I ached, to my bones. I coughed, and slowly lifted my gaze to the beautiful she-wolf in front of me. " You almost died back there. But I brought you to your pack, you know the rouge one." I looked at her weakly.

Silver-lineing lowered her head and nuzzled me. I drew in her sweet scent. I looked over to left and saw Mika sadly get up and walk away. I shrugged my shoulders and looked back at the stunning wolf in front of me. " Why did you come here. I can tell this place is far from your pack." I told her. "Because I joined your pack. I wanted to go on adventures with you. So you have someone to protect you!" She teased.

(A season later, Winter)

I sniffed the air. "Theres a pack somewhere over there." I gesterd to the forest. We stood on the snow covered plains. I looked over at Mika. She hadn't talked to much to me lately. "We should stop here for the night. Silver-lineing and Mika will you go hunting?" They nodded their heads and walked away.

Mika P.O.V

I was about to scream and threaten here once we were a good distance away from the rest of the pack. She halted and sniffed the air. I snarled and pushed her to the ground. "Stay away from him! I loved him first!" I snarled. Her face was shocked. "What do you mean? I don't love him!" She screeched. I dug my claws into her. " Good, and don't go acting like you do. Because if you do it will get a lot worse than this. Why did you come here, to make him fall for you and then break his heart? Because thats not going to happen!" I snarled. She gulped. "I wanted to get away from my pack. Get off of me Mika!" She said pushing me off. I stood up and shook the snow out of my fur.

The scent of rabbit tickled my nose. I burst through what was left of undergrowth. A rabbit looked up wide-eyed. I grabbed it and did the killing bite.

I brought it back to camp. I looked over and saw Silver-lineing talking to Pixel. A ripple of shock crossed his face. He got up and walked away, ears down and tail dragging through the freezing snow.

I dragged the rabbit over to him. "Want to share?" I asked quietly. He nodded. And slowly bit the rabbit. "She broke my heart." He blurted out to me. "I loved her and no one else!" He screeched. I pushed the remains of the rabbit to him and ran back to my nest crying. I thought what happened would make me have a chance with him.

I layed in my nest tears dripping like rain off my cheek. " Mika are you ok?" Someone asked. I lifted my head and saw Fireball. "Im just a little heart-broken thats all." I mumbled.

Fireball P.O.V

I starred at her sad face. She didn't know how much I loved her. "Heart break is something that helps you realize you love something or someone else. It comes and goes but when it happens to you because the person that you wanted to be with for the rest of your life it hurts the most. Heart comes and goes, you just have to push through it and see the light at the end of the tunnel." I told her settling down next to her.

I closed my eyes as she rested her head on me. I loved her...
