The Betrayed Wolves

Chapter 8

"What are you doing on Storm pack territory." A wolf growled. He stepped forward. His pelt was red and he had green eyes. "We smelt your scent on my territory." I said stepping forward.

This wolf was twice my size, what was I thinking. I heard Mika gasp from behind me. I turned my head towards Silver-Lineing, hoping she would admire my bravery. Her attenion was on one of the other packs wolves. I admire her courage starring at this wolf. She was trying to look tough.

"This is not your territory." The wolf huffed. I let out a small growl. "Yes it is." I retorted. "Listen kid, you don't want to mess with my pack. We will tear your 'pack' apart." He growled, as his eyes narrowed. Fear rose in my stomach but determination told me not to give in. "You can't. You look weak yourself." I challenged. He growled and took a step towards me.

I walked forward, knowing my love was watching me."One last warning kid. leave or leave wounded." He growled. I knew we didn't need a fight or wounds but I was young a dumb.

I leapt at him, my teeth glittering in the light. I pushed him to the ground. He bit my forepaw and flipped me over. My back hit the cold hard earth. Pain shot up my spine. I realized I had just started something I couldn't finish. My pack were fighting hopelessly against these wolves.

I kicked out with my hindlegs. The wolf went tumbling to the ground. He stumbled to his paws and growled. He charged at me and teeth met my neck. He bit down hard, and shook me. I hopelessly hung there, hoping my pack didn't see me die. I blindly kicked out, hitting him in his chest. he dropped me. I gasped for air.

"Beta stop this!" Someone howled. The fighting stopped to revel a beautiful white wolf. I looked at the blood soaked snow around me, my packs and the enemies.

Bandit lay on the ground un-moving. "Beta looked what you caused! A death!" She howled. "Snowstorm im sorry. You know Blitz wanted us to attack any unfamilar wolves!" He responded.
