The Betrayed Wolves

Chapter 15

I smiled as my paw-steps matched hers. "So Mika, how have you been?" I asked, trying to make conversation so it wouldn't be so akward. She flicked her ears and looked at me. "Bored, lonely. But i'm better when im with you." She said and lowered her head to look at her paws to hide her blush. 

I smiled. "I will always be better with you too Mika." I said, my voice flirty. I blushed at my comment and my tone. She looked up at me with surprise. "Really now?" She asked, giggling. I nodded my head at her and smiled. "Mika I know this is really soon but I love you and want to spend every waking minute I have on this world with you..Will you be my mate?" I asked, my heart in my throat instead of my chest.

Her eyes widened with surprise and she jumped and pushed me to the ground. She stood over me and licked my cheek. "ARE YOU KIDDING?! OF COURSE! I LOVE YOU! I ALWAYS HAVE!" She barked excitedly. My tail wagged as I stared up into her eyes, locking eyes with her. She stared down at me and I licked her cheek. "Come on, lets head back to camp." I said as she jumped off of me and started to walk. I ran up to her side and started to walk.

We turned heads as we entered camp, two heads in particular. Silver-lineing and Snowstorm. I couldn't deny that in my heart I still felt an attraction to the two beautiful she-wolves. I raised my head as I passed them. They both had a chance with me, their future leader...hopefully. 

I laid down in my nest,  Mika was called to go hunting. I put my head on my paws, which were covered with snow. Part of me really wanted to know what was happening at home. Was mother in danger? Was father alive? Was he OK? I closed my eyes to find myself in the dreamscape again, the old wolf glaring at me.

"Back so soon?" She snapped. I rolled my eyes and stood up. "Like I would come back to see you again so soon." I growled. She shook her head with disapproval. "Do you really want to know what is happening at home?" She asked, tilting her head to the side, her ears flopping to the side. I glared at her. "Yes you nimrod." I snapped. She rolled her eyes and turned her attenion to a small hole. 

I padded over to her as she threw some things into the hole, humming a song as she did so. "What are you doing?" I asked as I watched her.  She sat down in front of the hole and looked at me. She stuck her paw in the hole and jumped in it. I stared after her, bewildered. I did the same, shocked to see where I ended up.

She looked at me. "See? Home." She said, glaring at me, her tone was icy. My heart sank in my chest as I looked around the camp. It looked terrible. Skinny wolves were laying on the ground, large ones hovering over them. "Please don't hurt me.." One croaked. I saw someone I didn't want to see padding up to the pleading wolf. Milky.. I growled and took a step forward but the old wolf glared at me. "You can't harm her, your dreaming you nimrod." She said shaking her head. I watched as Milky 'silenced' the wolf for good. 

My jaw dropped as she padded away, acting like nothing even happened. One of her followers, my brothers, dragged the dead wolf away. My family had gone insane. I looked around as Milky started demanding orders. "But wheres father?" I whispered. The old wolf looked at me, her eyes full of pity. "Your father died to her. Secrets are never good to be kept, that's why all this happened." She said before vanishing, bringing me with her.

I looked at her. "What do you mean!?" I snapped angrily. She ignored me, covering up her hole that we had jumped through earlier. "Answer me you old hag!" I snapped. She turned and looked at me. "Your not Olives and Herons pup." She said shaking her head and waking me up.

I awoke, staring at me paws in disbelief. "What?!" I screeched.

Hello! Its been forever ( ;-;). Jumping over the writers block here and updating. I am so sorry I haven't updated in what..two months?! That's not good and I want to say sorry to all you beautiful people. So SORRY! I have started school also and have projects .*blows sadly on part horn* Anyways have a great day guys!
