Savannah's POV:
"Let's blast music tonight, yeah?" Mollie says, connecting her phone to her speaker. I smile at her.
"Why not, baby?" I ask. She looks at me.
"What were you like in high school?" I sigh.
"Oh, holy hell. I was popular. Hot. Party girl.. huge Bon Jovi fan. But if we're talking 90s music.. oh fuck I loved Britney Spears. The spice girls.. Destiny's Child.. oh and I loved Aaliyah too!" She smiles.
"You liked your high school years, hm?"
"Oh yeah. Oh, yeah." I smile at the memories coming back to me.
"I would sneak out with all of my friends. Huge group of 'em. And we'd go to Los Angeles. And we'd do nothing but party all night. On a fucking Tuesday in a bar. What the fuck." She laughs.
"Really, Hale?!" I nod.
"Yeah! And then I'd sneak back in, get ready for school, and then I'd do my thing in school! I was rebelling against my parents." She turns on Livin' On A Prayer by Bon Jovi.
"I feel like you wore crop tops and low-rise jeans all the time. And you had your belly button pierced too," she says. I nod.
"You're right. I gotta show you pictures." I smile at her and stand up.
"You make me feel old," she says, turning it up.
"You're three years older than me. It would've been the freshman/senior trope," I say, putting my arms around her neck.
"14 and 17.. absolutely not."
"Oh my god what if we went to high school together?!" I ask.
"We didn't. I was homeschooled." I frown.
"Damn!" I kiss her, and she dips me. I laugh.
"Yeah. No, I would've been terrified of you, Sav. I was shy as hell."
"Well, you get girls like me back when you get to scream at them all day!" She nods.
"True!" I kiss her once more.
"Oh.. when I was getting my doctorate in psychology.. Beyoncé was my shit. Single ladies? Get me bodied? Bye."
"Didn't you have you have your oldest by then?"
"Yes. But he stayed home with Greg. When Greg was happy he enjoyed it!" I smile and turn on get me bodied.
"I used to.." I back up into her and dance on her.
"And then I'd.." I turn around and put my hands around her neck.
"And by this point, her hands would be wandering places they shouldn't have.." I look at her lips, and her hands travel down my waist.
"And then we'd go to the back of the bar and.." I kiss her. We immediately start to make out, and she pushes me onto the bed.
"I'm jealous of those girls," she says. I giggle.
"Hold on." She pulls away and pauses the music.
"You.. cheated on.. Greg?""No. Me and Greg weren't together! Not yet, anyway. We were friends who hooked up and.. well. My first. And then he fell in love or whatnot."
"Savannah, respectfully, have you always been like this?" I nod.
"Yeah. Always. People either hate my personality or love it. No in between."
"Why haven't I noticed it until right now?"
"Because I haven't shown you this side of me, idiot. I showed you soft Sav. This is.. real Sav. Sleep-deprived Sav."
