Chapter 15: Galena
(Meanwhile, in another universe, in Umbras Base)
They were all gathered in the centre of a grand Hall (in fact more like a battle arena) on a segmented floor illuminated by pink and purple lights. The outer rim of the floor was surrounded by darkened spiked pillars, partly illuminated by lights of deepest crimson. All this lay beneath a vast sea of space decorated with stars of ever-shifting pink, purple and blue hues. And immediately surrounding the outer area of the hall, free floating panels depicting scenes of epic battles and key moments in the lives of Champions from across the Multiverse.
These were the stories told of the 'Heroes' in their moments of victory or personal development, taken for granted by foolish humans who squander their insignificant lives away dreaming of the greatness of others while allowing their own lives, and their own world to fall to ruin.
'Well let them, while they still can.' The beautiful but sadistic woman thought with a smirk. The age of Heroes standing victorious over their conquered foes was soon coming to an end. Not that she was done playing with them, or their villainous counterparts just yet. Kane too still had his role to play, and she still wished to work with him (manipulate him) a little longer.

Galena, the secret 'partner' of Kane, was a green-skinned, fairy-like woman with red eyes, long, wavy, spiky white hair, and translucent insectoid wings. She wore a bright red leotard that clung tight to her curvaceous form, with matching gloves and thigh-high boots, and carried a dark-purplish barbed spear in her right hand. And in her left she lay her head with a devilish grin spread across her face as she sat upon a darkened crimson, spiked throne, regarding her own party of 'Champions'.
Lord Frieza, the critically-acclaimed former King of Universe 7 in the Multiverse of Alien and Godly Fighters, a universe of the wish-granting orbs known as 'Dragon Balls'. Ambitious, and highly destructive, he could prove useful as long as he was kept under a close eye, and on a short leash.
