𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐔𝐏, 𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 I was faced with something troubling or if I ever found myself in a situation that made me feel uncomfortable, she'd always sit me down and tell me the same exact thing.

"Well you have got the lemons, so it's time for you to go and make some lemonade."

At the ripe age of seven, that phrase was complete nonsense- it didn't mean anything to me. But now that I'd properly matured, and now that my mother was gone I'd really learnt to appreciate those words. And those words were really starting to make a lot of sense in my day to day life.

It was impossible to stop the smile that was spreading across her lips. Her Hazel eyes stared down at her phone, as she received a series of texts. It was Alex, that waiter she'd met at the diner a few days ago.

In all honesty, Natalie thought that he'd completely forgotten about her. It'd been days since they met, so she just assumed that he didn't really like her which was why he hadn't texted. Although, to her surprise he did.

She'd convinced herself that she'd either put the wrong phone number into his phone, or that he'd only taken her number out of sympathy. However, that clearly wasn't the case.

He really was the best of both worlds, not only was this man stunningly attractive, but he was also nice. A combination that you didn't often see. It confused her really, because those types of men were never usually interested in her.

After texting him good bye she slipped her phone into her jeans pocket, so she could finish getting ready for school. After the weekend's long hangover, she had decided that Monday would be a fresh start. The details of what happened when she was drunk that night was a little fuzzy, although Alice filled her in on the majority. But, she couldn't remember barely anything that happened after her and Austin left Alice's.
